Hey so when you're faced with someone saying the current heat's doing a number on them because it's so out of the ordinary for their climate and your first instinct is to ridicule them and say shit like "well over heeeere that barely qualifies as lukewarm", you are, in fact, an asshole.

Everything used to be 20 dollars and now that I finally have 20 dollars everything is now 200 dollars

we used to get christmas episodes of television. halloween episodes. valentines. we used to get television that felt like part of your life. like it was happening alongside your life. now we mostly get 8 episodes dropping all at once every two years and they don't have time for any of that. i miss characters living alongside us

I hate when people say shit like "I was obviously in love with you, don't you see when I did z, y and z for you" when the other person thinks they were just friends. As if to say they wouldn't put the same effort into their platonic relationships. Cause this couldn't be me. I take my friendships very seriously. You have the flu? I'll be over in an hour with herbal tea. You just broke up with you partner? No need to sulk, let's go on a adventure day or a spa. You have very little free time to hang out? I'll purposefully keep my schedule free on the days when we can go out so we can see each other. I don't understand people who treat others well just because they like them romantically, because for me being a good friend is one of the most important things I can be

I know I talk about this a lot and it doesn't change anything, but people really have stopped reblogging art, commenting on fics, and really spend any time at all on anything that isn't yet another pointless discourse. and no, "I'm too tired" or "I don't know what to say" isn't a good explanation, because you guys seem to have enough energy for polls, shitposts and various internet arguments. can't you see that you're turning into mindless consumers. am I crazy
