The Tiger Roll Sushi is a tasty mix of fresh tuna, shrimp, avocado, and cucumber rolled up in nori and sushi rice. There is a lot of flavor in the spicy mayo, and the toasted sesame seeds give it a nice crunch.
Ingredients: 3 cups sushi rice, cooked. 4 nori seaweed sheets. 1/2 lb fresh tuna, thinly sliced. 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined. 1/2 cucumber, julienned. 1 avocado, sliced. 1 tbsp spicy mayo. 1 tbsp sriracha sauce. 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted. Soy sauce, for dipping.
Instructions: Place a sushi mat made of bamboo on a clean surface. Lay a nori sheet on the mat with the shiny side down. Cover the nori with a thin layer of sushi rice, leaving a small edge at the top. In the middle of the rice, line up slices of tuna, shrimp, cucumber, and avocado. Put sriracha sauce and spicy mayo on top of the fillings. Starting at the bottom, use the bamboo mat to roll the sushi up tight. Put some toasted sesame seeds on top of the roll. Use a sharp knife to cut the roll into 8 pieces. You can dip them in soy sauce.
