The prequels haters have started finding this post. Sorry I didn't preface it with every single problem with those movies so it would meet your approval, but sometimes I enjoy flawed things.

maybe I'm crazy but lately I've been thinking about 1-4-5-2-3-6. still preserves all those same plot twists, but gives TPM its own space separate from the clone wars arc (the folks who think TPM is unnecessary are wrong about that but correct that it feels a little disconnected from the rest of the trilogy), and the jump from 1 to 4 would give you a real sense of "holy shit what happened" ...has anyone tried em this way?

That's actually a fascinating idea and I'm getting the urge to do mad science on people who haven't seen SW yet to prove the perfect watch order

realizing that the online sphere and especially tumblr is NOT a good sample for ‘what everyone thinks’ is so, so, so good for your mental health and moral OCD. i swear to god. realizing that you don’t have to live your actual life like you’re being hunted for sport because the average tumblr user will hunt you for sport for wording something slightly weird or engaging in the wrong stuff or whatever is so incredible. like no you’re actually not fucked up and evil for not donating or for watching that one indie cartoon or questioning a post that everybody is agreeing with. that’s just tumblrs georg making you feel that way

This happened in Mass Effect, too. A Citadel treaty prevented an arms race by limiting the number of Dreadnoughts each race was allowed, and Dreadnoughts were classified by the size of their main rail gun. Humans were newcomers, and so prevented from having dreadnoughts at all... so they built guns 1m shorter than Dreadnought class, and installed them on hundreds of ships. Human ships were almost entirely main gun and engines to power it.
