Hello everybody, I usually post light hearted stuff and mostly my art here but i fear I have to spread this news. This is a serious case here and I hope I can spread awareness especially to my people
But I do have to remind you, this involves heavy topics, and dark stuff.
My country (Indonesia) is currently in a crisis. The government is fucked up, a police car, weighing around 12 tons, hits an ojol (in our country they work as thus food delivery and also help with transport and etc) and RAN OVER the ojol, causing the poor guy to die, leaving his family behind.

See, Indonesia is known for it's unique and plenty ethnicity, that includes the "pribumi" or usually referred as the pure Indonesian people (sorry if this sounds offensive.) and a mix of Chinese and Indonesia, we call Chindo (Chinese Indo)
Somehow, the government is trying to divert the issue and make the people who were part of the mass protest, focus on us Chindo who are the minorities here.
To give you guys a recap if you haven't experience the tragedy of '98. It was hell on earth for Chinese ppl in Indonesia. Their houses and stores get burned. They get robbed and beaten up, also some brutally mvrdered. The girls get r4ped, even when they're still young and just started puberty. Once my friend's grandma told him a story from the '98, that she saw some innocent girl got her breast, sliced off by the pribumi there. It was insane and traumatizing. We live in constant fear, because once someone realizes we're Chinese there, they'll be ready to attack us.
BUT I have to remind you some pribumi are woke, and realizes how sick these things are, and thankfully it soon came to an end and we lived in better situations.
Sadly it won't stay like that for too long because the government is starting to divert the issue and attention from them, to the chindo AGAIN. Cars have been burned down, even ambulances. Stores are being targeted, on the highway, some people started to yell "CINA CINA CINA" which mean "Chinese Chinese chinese" as if calling to us. Some police members have disguised themselves as regular people or citizens to throw TEAR GAS at Chinese people. No, it's not only the adults, KIDS HAVE BECAME VICTIM TO THIS.
If you don't know what tear gas contains, it filled with CS (Chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile) and CN (Chloroacetophenone), which irritates the eye, nose ,and mouth, giving a painful sensation that causes our eyes to tear up, and have difficulty breathing.
To make it worse, some police have been caught beating up an innocent person

Some people have also plan to start a mass protest at public places like, TRAIN STATIONS, AIRPORTS, like the government is going to respond if they do it like that. They burnt down one of the government office, causing tons of lives being sacrificed in that movement.
All my advice to my fellow Chindo, please stay indoors at all time, stay safe, leave the house when it's really necessary.
To the mass protestors, please focus on our main target which is the government, do not divert your attention and avoid listening to the buzzers who are just paid by the police and government. We can do this, I pray for all of you to be safe.
