i'm so fucking over it
they didnt listen, by the way. because of course they didnt. theyre hiding domo ai from the member list and forcing them into private and public servers. use
/ban user:1153984868804468756
to get rid of it.
if you're interested in the Colorful support post i made regarding this, its under the cut. i'm livid.
adding this to the list… 5. 5 bots you have to fucking ban from discord that they added without your permission. What the absolute fuck.
Discord bots you need to ban
1104973139257081909
1288638725869535283
1090660574196674713
1104973139257081909
1153984868804468756
Funnily enough, the last two have names.
The important bit is that this screenshot does not mean those accounts were actually members of your server.
Those four numerical IDs are the exact four Discord AI apps that got circulated in a viral “hidden AI bots are secretly inside every server” warning:
1153984868804468756 — DomoAI
1104973139257081909 — Viggle
1288638725869535283 — Glifbot
1090660574196674713 — InsightFace / InsightFaceSwap (Discord)
The warning was substantially misleading. Discord allows an administrator to ban a user ID that has never joined the server at all. So somebody can paste one of those IDs into /ban, Discord says “X was banned from the server,” and it looks for all the world as though Discord just discovered a hidden member. It didn't. There's even a documented reproduction where someone made a brand-new server, banned DomoAI's ID, and received exactly this kind of result despite never installing it. (Gist)
That also explains the especially weird part of your screenshot:
1104973139257081909 was banned ...then later... Viggle#6074 was banned
Those are the same account. Likewise 1153984868804468756 is DomoAI. Discord sometimes initially displays the raw snowflake ID and subsequently resolves/caches the application's username. A tester reproduced that exact behavior: ban an unknown ID → number displayed; look the app up so Discord caches it → ban the same ID again → name displayed. (Gist)
So why can these apps be used in a server at all?
This is where there is a genuine Discord design change underneath the misinformation. Discord supports user-installed apps. A person can authorize one to their own Discord account, after which its commands can be available to that person across servers without the app being installed as a server member. Discord's own current documentation explicitly distinguishes these from server-installed apps: user-installed apps are associated with the authorizing user and can appear across that user's servers, DMs, and group DMs. (Documentation - Discord)
So DomoAI/Viggle/etc. weren't sitting invisibly in your member list reading everything. Someone with one installed on their account could potentially invoke it in your server under Discord's External Apps system.
If you dislike that, the useful control isn't /ban. Discord says to go to Server Settings → Roles → Apps Permissions → disable “Use External Apps”. That doesn't completely prevent somebody from invoking their personal app, but it makes the resulting interaction visible only to that user rather than operating publicly in your server. (Discord Apps)
So I think what you're looking at is the fossil record of that 2025–26 “ban the four secret Discord AI bots” scare. Somebody — quite possibly you following one of those posts — fed Clyde those four famous IDs. Clyde obediently said “banned,” even though they almost certainly weren't secretly lurking in your server in the first place.
