i love the misinformation website. this is a fearmongering copypasta that’s been going around for like two years now lol it’s not true. also, the “edit image with apps” button that originated all of this originally was removed last year.

discord is not secretly adding bots to every single discord server. that /ban command works on those user IDs because you can use /ban on an account that’s not in the server if you have their user ID. you can ban me from whatever server you want if you have my user ID but that doesn’t mean i was secretly in there watching you the whole time.

here’s a longer post with cited sources about the whole DomoAI debacle, written by someone else who knows more about it than me, if you want to know more about what’s actually happening and if you want to know what tools you have as a server owner to prevent images sent in your server from being taken up by one of these bots (hint: banning the bot is not one of them)

let me just say. the demons are whispering to me to start a fic about it already

because the idea of bowser remembering them as his kids but then getting to this new reality and theyre all like "what are you on about lmao" when he calls them his kids. getting used to the change but missing his big family. missing that junior used to have brothers and sister instead of subordinates. wishing he appreciated them more when he had them. Whatever.

the idea that the black hole is bowsers fault, so hes the one who has to sacrifice the most in this new reality to make up for what he did. equivalent exchange and all that.

Finally got around to having a look at Claire De Lune and UGHHH WOW, it is so well written and the characters feel so real. Even as someone who's not particularly invested in the game koopalings, there's so much heart in the story that you easily get into it whether you like the koopalings or not. I can't believe Ignom Koomp was shot point blank by Kinm Boom 😔

The plot reminds me so much of 'Dead Man's Party' by Oingo Boingo and I made a quick little doodle inspired by it. Very cool fic, I look forward to seeing how it ends 💚
