i think my favorite part about writing clair de lune is that mario characters have just enough characterization to give you a solid idea of their personality, but its not too much to the point that being accurate feels like keeping a checklist. once you have the basics down, you can do whatever you want

Being a fan of a morally grey character is frustrating because people will try to reduce them to either being an innocent little angel or a completely heartless monster and both of these interpretations just take away what makes the character interesting

You guessed it, more backlog it will never end ❤️✨🥶 This one I can pinpoint to mid 2025 tho, so not quite as old as some other pieces.

This was my sort of rendition of Kooky’s lab. I was going for a feeling rather than how I’d actually design it, but it definitely inspired how I envision the layout nowadays. I like to imagine him working on a grander scale with a rocky wrench crew on standby if he so chooses (he’s still the brains around here tho, of course), far more reminiscent of a junkyard than a typical laboratory. It’s organized chaos, just like him.
