That's their thing. Rocky IS Grace's buddy and pal. That's their special thing. Nobody else's gets called 'buddy' and 'pal' by Grace. Those are Rocky's words and he covets them like a dragon with its treasure hoard. He has a conniption at the mere idea that Grace might stop calling him buddy and pal. He's ok with new pet names, but don't you DARE get rid of the old ones.
