Stupid question but, would it be possible to dip a weak bullet (like 22lr so that it doesn't exit the body?) in poison in order to essentially poison someone from afar? Or would a tranquilizer gun with poison inside be more effective? But at that range ig a basic gun is more useful...
Possibly? I mean if you’re trying to kill someone from afar I’d imagine just shooting them with a regular bullet does the trick well enough but yeah I’d think a bullet coated in some agent would introduce said agent into the bloodstream. Same concept as dipping an arrow in poison.
The only potential problem I can see is if the poison is destroyed by the heat.
Also from littlekingheiss said: But wouldn’t the bullet get hot enough to denature the poison after being shot out?
Hm, good point… I’d need to dig into that, I don’t have the background to even speculate on it. We got any chem majors in the audience who can weigh in?
Not organic = cannot be denatured, shouldnt be a problem for a good amount of poisons. That being said, it would be very pointless/stupid.
