oh boy you’re in for a doozy! be warned tho, these are super angsty but also rlly beautiful so dw, they’re all worth the suffering imo

before i start, if you haven’t read them, read the clexa angst classics first b/c they’re biblical?? read, reread them, memorize them, live by them. this heart fossilized, you see the smile thats on my mouth, lover in low light , she 

clarke x lexa: 

- living on a fault line : clarke and lexa were married and now they’re divorced with a child, yup its the perfect angst because its so realistic too. the writing and pacing is almost poetic, wig gone!

- love on the ground : i feel like this fic is so under appreciated and should be up there with the well-known clexa classics because @hedaswolf writes the tension and chemistry between clexa so well. its in canon-universe, and the ending is still one of my favourites EVER in all of fic history

- pie in the sky : i’ve reread this fic so many times because the plotline is just so good. clarke is pregnant and in a loveless marriage and lexa is her doctor, the angst speaks for itself lbr

- look don’t touch (for this will destroy us) : whenever clarke looks in the mirror, she’s always seen the reflection of lexa. what does it mean? (her soulmate). and when she finally meets lexa, whew get ready for some good angst

other wlw:

- trust me : carol x therese, a psychiatrist/patient au, their relationship grows slowly and you will disappear into this fic seriously, its beautiful

- vacancy : carol x therese, they are former lovers and y’all know i love former lovers au’s!! learning their backstories and their pining for each other is just so painful (love that)

- the mountain high : chloe x nadine, they are back at it again on an adventure together but nadine being a tough soldier, wants to be able to control everything and yet she can’t. chloe gets injured and whew seeing nadine being so soft with chloe gets me everytime 

- aftermath : chloe x nadine, this is after uncharted: the lost legacy where nadine helps patch up chloe but its so angsty because nadine is trying to be tough and not give into her emotions 

- How Badly Did You Have To Break Her? : root x shaw, delves into the frustrating and painful process after shaw’s captivity and torture. its told so realistically and beautifully. the interaction between root and shaw is also portrayed exactly how i pictured. in my mind this is how i picture their journey together, no one dies ok bye

- sliding towards chaos : root x shaw, this was such a rollercoaster! its one of those fics where you just DISAPPEAR into and i just loved being immersed into this beautiful story. it focuses on root and shaw and reese, and gets their dynamic perfectly. the details that go into every chapter is mind-blowing and its just a masterpiece of a fic 

- caged animals : root x shaw, shaw has to hide in the subway to stay safe and theres angst and theres fluff (domestic shoot!!), what more could you want? i loved seeing the portrayal of shaw and how it eats away at her to just hide because her instinct is to protect. and i also loved reading how much shaw wanted to protect root who still has missions to go on. 

-deadpool flirted with men and women on screen

-negasonic teenage warhead (main character in both films) was a canon lesbian with a girlfriend

-a maori teen was cast as a villain that was white in the comics then given a redemption arc/mentioned the emotional trauma of the foster system

-deadpool shot a p*dophile

-josh brolin had a lil crush on ryan reynolds and I know in my heart 100% would have kissed him on camera

-domino was a superhero with vitiligo

If it helps, Ryan Reynolds is just as pissed as we are and the pg-13 Disney approved version probably would have been filmed by now if it weren't for him raising absolute hell and refusing to cooperate.

this is heaven in hiding (modern au) by orangeyouglad is sexy, ridiculously well written, and fun
