You are an inexhaustible force of energy, my musical friend.  Not only are you funny and never shy of the truth, but you one of those rare kind-hearted people that sees others by their inner shine.  I’m grateful for your friendship, and I will be very sad to see you go.  I know that, however, that anywhere you end up, DJ Ogun will bless the ears with fire remixes, and bless new friends with hilarious nicknames.  Keep doing you, Mr. Tofu.

Karina Quintana, your determination and drive to accomplish your goals are the two things the Bard community observed the most from you in the last few years. You have successfully demonstrated, with your art, the richness of your culture and the deep impact it has in your life. It only takes observing your senior project exhibition to understand that art means a whole lot to you. Thank you for sharing that passion of yours with the Bard community in many ways: the Día de los Muertos celebration, the Taboo art exhibition for the Teach-in and your amazing senior project displaying the identity of the 43 missing students from Mexico. Congrats on graduating and accomplishing just one more of your many goals in life.

Truth Hunter, you have been an incredible role model who fosters hope and love within the BEOP community. Thank you for believing in me and other students, despite the countless number of times we have felt little compared to white upper-class individuals. Please keep creating things that will make a difference to minorities on campus.

This is a tribute to Sarah Cohen, a lovely human being and god's most beautiful creation. She's so easy to talk to that you feel as comfortable as if you were alone. And, she's also a really cool person.

You have always tried to make time in your busy schedule to listen to me and help me through my academic and personal trials and tribulations. You are such an inspiring professor, and you have always treated students with respect and patience. I will definitely miss having you as my professor and academic advisor when I walk off of Bard College's campus for the last time; it has been such an honor to have been a student in your class on multiple occasions. Thank you for being the most insightful, kind, and understanding professor.

You are a beacon of beauty and kindness. When anyone rushes past with their heads down to their next class, you extend your smile to all, and it is clear that it comes from a place of true kindness. You are a rare and lovely person. Never forget that. P.S. Also a sexy dancer too?!? And you're slaying w/ ur natural hair?? I see you :)

Your optimism is infectious. Your energy and love for everyone no matter who they are and what they do motivates me to keep an open mind. Thank you for being you.
