Dear “pro recovery, just sick” blogs —

S T O P

You are not helping yourself. You are not helping others. If you need a journal, use paper and pen. If you need a blog, make it private. Destroying yourself for hundreds (or thousands) of people to see is not bravery. Publicly killing yourself is not martyrdom.

Reblogging a recovery post every so often does not make your blog any less detrimental to the mental health of your followers.

I understand that being sick is hard. I understand that this illness has consumed your life and that you spend every moment (waking and sleeping) obsessed with your sickness. I wish I could help you all, but it is not within my power, nor is it my responsibility.

Please stop promoting self-destruction.
