There's been several cases of sysmeds messing up pages since it's a wiki, along with some pages having a general "off" vibe if that makes sense? Not always sysmed, but definitely uncomfy with a lot of their definitions

the symbol is a simplified version of the nonhuman alter symbol on pluralpedia that we made, the dark blue represents the unity between all types of nonhumans, the purple represents the supernatural and a separation from humanity, the yellow represents those who find joy in both human and nonhuman experiences, the light green represents those who enjoy all of the human experience, and the dark green represents our place here on earth together, no matter where we are from there are some variations under the cut!

this is how it works

it's pretty much a few [containers] ("subtag", subsystems) within one <"parent" container> ("systag", system). its made from the perspective of alters/parts with less amnesia, working from least amnesia to most (left to right, all optional), in order to make it easier for disso/traumagenic systems to make a map as communication can be difficult. in our case we're using a / to separate the first subsystem from the second, as it designates a weak barrier between/around those subsystems. if you have a strong barrier between subsystems, then use | (vertical bar), like so...

if you have no barrier beyond formal, then don't use anything, like so...

now you might be wondering why one of our subsystem [containers] has a : (semicolon) within a [container]. that is just to designate the subtag before it is indeed the subtag, with anything after it being altertags. here's an example not based on our system for privacy reasons...

Fictopiria

The feeling of missing a fictional place, yearning or being homesick for a place represented in fiction. Used like the words nostalgia and homesickness

Fictopiric

adjective - /ˈfɪktoˌpɪrɪk/

Relating to fictopiria, something that brings up the feeling of fictopiria. Used like the words nostalgic and homesick.

Both Fictopiria and Fictopiric are designed to best represent Fictionkin or Fictives (and any other form of fictomere) homesickness to their source, which may feel unique compared to the common homesickness, nostalgia, or even hiraeth (welsh).

Based off of the following words

Fiction (English) [ficto-], meaning "invented, as opposed to real; fictional"

Sopiri (Esperanto) [-opiri-], meaning "to long for, yearn for"

I was trying to find a role for someone who fronts in times that are particularly dysphoria-inducing for the host in order to protect them, but there isn't any such (specific) term on pluralpedia--which has, like, a lot of roles listed. So I came up with the term "dysphoria protector." Pretty simple and easy, most people will probably be able to figure out what you're saying if they know what a protector is.

stability handler, holder or a stabilizer -

a headmate role which describes a headmate who:

a. ) fronts to handle unstable headmates

b. ) act as a support or grounder

or c.) takes the feeling of negativity / unstableness away as their own.

this role group can be generally labeled as protectors and/or caretakers in some form.

Icebased, ones system is inherently tied to winter, the cold, and ice and snow (especially the chemical thermodynamics that caused snow and ice crystals to form in the way that they do).

[Tulpa hosts vs System hosts]

So I wanna talk about a bit of a clash in terminology between the tulpamancy and other plural communities, cuz I feel like this might confuse a LOT of people out of the loop. So here's the thing: "host" as general plural/system terminology is totally different than how the tulpamancy community uses the word!! So here's the jist.

Host (plural term): The person running outerworld life most prominently, doing the daily routine usually, just the person that's fronting the most and subsequently doing that stuff. The host isn't always the "original" or "core", and a system can have multiple hosts or no hosts at all.

Host (tulpamancy term): The creator of a tulpa, AKA the "tulpamancer". This is in basically any context!! If a singlet makes a tulpa, they become the tulpa's host. If the host of a system makes a tulpa, they're also the host of that tulpa. If a non-host system member creates a tulpa, they're the host of that tulpa even if they're not the host of the system. If a tulpa decides to create another tulpa, they're both a tulpa and the host of the tulpa they created!

OCD HOLDER

🔮 — a term to describe an alter whos specific role is to hold OCD symptoms, compulsions, or traits. an OCD holder may act differently due to this and experience OCD compulsions more frequently or severely than other parts.
