PILLZ takes place in a Hospital referred to as 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢'𝗗𝗼𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and located in a universe called "𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙤𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚". A place between Time and logic with vast liminal spaces where wandering humans slip through the cracks of reality.

Malik O'Doyle concerns itself with all matters pertaining to mental health, ailments and lost souls in need of help- Rehabilitation and Medicaid for both the Good and The Wicked are served here! Regardless of who and what you are, all are welcome within these halls!

This server is a love letter to all things weirdcore, dreamcore and nostalgia. The community around it. This server encourages creativity, humor and providing the need for a sandbox roleplay but without the aimlessness of no boundaries or story! We introduce the chance to be apart of the story or simply float around in the background- This server also deals with mature topics and thusly is 18+!

Working our noses to the grind making this server and the trello and the topic of "almond water" coming up with the consensus that humans that end up there think its a thing. Heyyo! It's completely fine tah' draw Holly~! And i m thank yah' fer yer feelings about the comic, I wish I can say "wow I've been working so hard on it!" But, life is sadly a huge jerk and ive been stuck in limbo due to drama and interests aligneing somewhere else. Maybe one day i'll finally get my bareings back with this comic! I do enjoy seein folks like the characters at least! 🥺❤❤

After struggling with my Pillz project i feel like such a failure! I know I shouldn't but i do. I know i'll get this out, but right now im very much struggling. Maybe one day i'll be as good as others who have progressed in their own creative endeavors. But for me, my depression seems to enjoy sucking me down into a pit where Im unable to create and be happy with what i make!!! I see others and i think "they are so far ahead, i want to be there!"

Then i look to this empty blog as i work day in and out, every. Single day on pillz with what feels like the smallest baby steps despite working all day until i wake up until i leave the table around midnight! Oh how the irony grows about this comic's themes being that of the importance of mental health and my experiences. You'd think it would make it easier..!

Speaking of the luck of the non-disabled…I once terrorized a Karen who was using me to teach her entitled kid that disabled people are Other and should not be treated with respect. I told her (truthfully) that until I was twenty-eight, I wasn’t visibly disabled. Then a defective chromosome that I hadn’t known about kicked in. So my luck ran out. But until then, I had been normal–just…like…her.

The sheer terror on her face as the concept of “You mean I’ve just been lucky so far?” seeped into her brain was a thing of beauty.

I was healthy and fit and doing everything ‘right’ too - right up until some inner switch flipped and my body crumbled right out from under me.
