HOMYGOD this took a while- Most of the background was just me winging the shit outta this not gonna lie. I just went off what I could find of Wacky Pomo (Wacky PostModern) images on pintrest. I think the jank ads to it though.

Craftwork's my first attempt at both a Wacky Pomo styled OC but also a Wacky Pomo piece in general jskdfhksjd I like to think I have a very good grasp on weirdcore and Wacky Pomo feelsssss close, but different.

I wanted to kinda capture both sides of what I feel like 90s-early/mid 2000s graphics sorta looked like to me at the time? Like one one hand you have these overly smooth models in ads or shows but then computer games were these real crusty unshaded things. I usually like to polish the hell outta my pixel art so oogh this hurt a bit kksjdfhsdjk </3

His full name is Shard Barton and he is an oc from artfight.

He’s is a part of my ongoing project “The Home of All Unusual Creatures” in which he plays a role as a patron (patrons keep the Home running through their donations in exchange for a performance from residents).

Fun facts:

- Shard is arrogant but also kind of mysterious.

- Good friends with Pickles Twain (another patron).
