Y’all, it’s been a real struggle for your Black girl. I’ve been bawling my eyes out trying to find work, especially after going through interviews and then finding out they chose someone else. It’s been heartbreaking and frustrating, but I’m still trying to keep going and find something. Im raising $2,500 in survival funds for September and October to help cover rent, which is due on the 3rd of each month, food/hygiene, phone service, and my car payment. I really don’t want to risk having my car repossessed, especially because I’ll need it to get to work once I’m employed. September is also my birthday, and honestly, I’m just hoping to make it through these next couple of months. The world feels like such a scary place right now. I’m hoping to have a job by October and get back on my feet. Once I’m in a better position, I want to give back to the community and help others who are struggling too. I’m really hoping this is the last mutual aid post I have to make.
