"Contact stance abolition" is so fucking unserious. You can shift the focus from the meaning onto the label all you want, but you're not abolishing shit, even for yourself. Most "contact stance abolitionists" I came across were of an opinion that the question of adults/older people dating children and young adolescents should be resolved on a case by case basis, and that, however you personally wish to call it, is what has historically been called "pro contact". These users have personal interest in not being called pro contact, since that worsens their outreach outside of their community, so that's where the whole "contact stances are just so stupid and confusing and unnecessary" thing comes from.

There is a certain myth that has been propagated recently by syscourse neutrals and unaligneds, as well as some sysmeds themselves.

This is the myth of the good sysmed. The harmless anti-endo. See, this sysmed isn't like all the others. This sysmed isn't harassing endogenic systems. They just slap an anti-endo banner on their blog, and insist that endogenic systems not interact with them.

The core of this position is "bigotry is only harmful when that bigotry directly leads you to personally harassing people."

But respectfully, that's not how that works!

Bigotry is harmful because it's bigotry. Even in the absence of harassment.

Hatred and exclusionism towards endogenic systems is itself the problematic behavior.

The suggestion that endogenic systems should just accept and be comfortable with people spreading disinformation and hateful rhetoric about us just because they are better than the ones who are directly harassing us is incredibly insulting to endogenic systems!

There is no such thing as an anti-endo who doesn't harm endogenic systems.

No, they might not directly harass us. But they do normalize the hatred against us. Simply putting anti-endo in your pinned helps to normalize and validate those that do hate us. Having us in your DNI helps to normalize exclusionism.

And not just from the traumagenic anti-endo systems either, but also from singlets. There is no shortage of stories of endogenic and mixed origin system who have been banned from Discord servers that are completely unrelated to system stuff, with singlet mods, because of hatred and bigotry spread by sysmeds.

Even if you only express your anti-endo views in private, you are still spreading them. You spread hate and disinformation towards endogenic systems to a friend, then they spread it to another friend, then that friend makes a TikTok about it, then that TikTok is viewed by a singlet who happens to run an autism server, and then they decide to ban endogenic systems because of the hate and disinformation they heard, leading to endogenic and mixed origin systems in that server losing their safe space because of this bigotry!

Every ounce of hatred and bigotry towards endogenic systems that is put into the world harms every single endogenic system!

What is not rare is that a blog with a meme url will screenshot a few dozen of posts out of context to label the op as a ready predator. The entire lolcow culture is built on that.

For one you can't reliably tell if someone is a cis man or a closeted pre-transition trans woman unless they tell you. People in real life don't have a bio listing all of their identity categories, and even online not all trans women want to have that. You also need to understand that not all closeted trans women behave like stereotypical eggs. Some will appear to be completely normal cis men because that's safer in their daily lives.

Moreover there are also trans women who are bigender, agender, or some other flavor of nonbinary that find this whole model alienating and hostile. Sometimes the hostility also seems to extend to binary trans women who simply do not want to follow gender norms as well, or who simply do not agree with a more popular trans woman's takes.

This is not a hypothetical, I have had multiple people assume I'm actually an evil trans man over things like saying it's transphobic to call people "theyfabs".

I have a youth liberation tag on my blog where I post my opinions beyond that one. The fuck do you mean "biggest concern"?

But it's not a small thing by itself, btw. The way adults online immediately zero in on the age and go "THIS IS A CHILD KID BABY FETUS" is not separate from the oppression of youth. Because they're using the word "child" to mean "inherently incompetent person who can only be harmed or saved by adults". Meanwhile I'm calling to use the word "child" as "prepubescent" and scrape off the stereotyping meanings that were put on it.

There's also a distinct type of a discourse opinion that's basically like "stop arguing with teenagers, they're all DUMB KIDS, who don't know what they're doing, just block them and keep them out until they GROW UP". Don't tell me you don't understand why that's harmful and how it sets them up for failure.
