Ronan being so hurt and broken for so long and then adam comes out of nowhere and he has all these feelings but he cant express them properly and he needs to do something or else he'll explode and we all know his coping mechanisms of racing and fighting to get himself under control

• gansey was tired of listening to petty politics

•ronan needed an escape after n*all’s death

•noah was insufferably bored all. the. time.

•adam found it better than staying trapped in the suffocating heat of his parent’s lack of, well, parenting

•so with gansey’s near limitless s funds, coupled with ronan’s inheritance of arbitrary musical instruments, the band was formed

•positions were pretty simple

•gansey was lead vocals

•adam took keyboard

•ronan on the drums

•noah was a monster with the bass.

•he broke an acoustic guitar on “accident” and the gang was unsure about allowing him access of more expensive equipment but they finally relented

•they couldn’t decide on a name though
