dearer to me than my own heart ❤️🩹
«For that first summer, The Barns was paradise to Ronan Lynch and Adam Parrish.» 🥺 🧺 💌 🥛 ⭐️
Jordan and Declan Lynch from Call Down The Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater 💛
IT’S FINALLY DONE!!! I DID IT 💪🏼😭
Now I know it wasn’t a healthy decision to try to make a fan art inspired by J. C. Leyendecker illustrations when color and light have never been my forte. However! Reading Call Down the Hawk is the reason why I came back to the ✨arts✨, so you can imagine how good a book has to be to have that impact on me.
Also, I know this art piece has some mistakes when it comes to lighting and color, but I decided to share it the way it is now, because I know how obsessive I am when it comes to being perfect, and If I had chosen to try to make it perfect, I would probably never have shared it.
So here it is!
Jordan and Declan live freely in my heart, and I’m excited to read the next book. 💛💛💛
oh to be someone’s second secret

i just got the archive undying from hold on libby but i got the audiobook and i read your notes about font changes in the ebook, do you know anything about the audiobook/do you think it’s a book that would translate well to audiobook format?
good question!! i haven't listened to the audiobook myself, but i would hope that the narrator does different voices?
w/o spoiling too much, the font changes come when we're seeing things from the perspective of [redacted], and they become less necessary as the story goes on and the changes in POV become more clear.
i don't see any reason why the book wouldn't translate well to audiobook? depending on what the narrator does, it could actually be more comprehensible as an audiobook versus text format. that said: if you like being confused while reading/listening to books, you're definitely in the right place--it's a very harrow the ninth sort of book. if you prefer more straightforward storylines...listening instead of reading probably won't make much of a difference.
hope this helps !! and i hope that u enjoy the book 🥰🥰🥰
i was at a mcdonalds across a private school the other day and when two students came in in their preppy uniform, i seized up and immediately realised this is what blue sargent was on about
