I’m changing my pinned post to a list of ocs so when I post ask games people know who to ask about~
Roland Terrasold: A unique undead cleric of Sarenrae, and later the high priest of Valoria. He walks the path of these goddesses attempting to atone for actions he took in his younger years as a mercenary.
Kiyo Alvara: An elf who was raised by a human doctor after their parents’ deaths from a plague. They are now a doctor and a vigilante, helping to protect the people of Old Korvosa. They have a weird relationship with death, aging, and other elves due to their life amongst humans.
Sai Gwenn: A bat beastkin witch who was raised by a hag she only refers to as Mamma. She was taught growing up that she is a monster that humans will never accept, so she has a lot of baggage around her true form and her magic. She is attached at the hip to her ‘little bro,’ Hayden, who is an assassin of Norgorber, and her ‘lil sis’ who is her bat familiar, Luka.
Lucien Anisia: A cleric of the goddess of luck, who practices his faith by gambling and taking risky actions to show he trusts in his luck. On the surface he is a goofy adrenaline junkie who never thinks through what he says or does. On the inside he is severely depressed and doesn’t care what might happen to him when his luck runs out.
Kaius River: A tiefling gunslinger who as a mercenary and bounty hunter went by the name ‘Hawke’ to keep his work life away from his family. After helping to save the world, Kaius has retired as a bartender to be with his wife and daughter. He will do anything to protect his family, no matter who else has to be hurt in the process.
Umbrolus Arcantix: A tiefling barbarian who was raised by a dragon, and spent most of his life thinking he was just a weird little dragon and would have his growth spurt any day now. Eventually his parent sent him off to see the outside world, and early in his travels he met a lashunta bard named Kleio. One thing led to another, they’re in love, Umbrolus learned he’s only culturally a dragon, and they stopped a technological god from ascending and mind dominating the world.
Draven Imani: God’s least favorite princess. A half-elf warpriest of Iomedae. Draven has had trauma after trauma in her life, leading to some severe survivor’s guilt, a belief she’s cursed to cause the deaths of those around her, and a hero complex. Luckily for her she was at the right place at the right time, gained demi-god powers, accidentally became the Chosen of her goddess when the actual Chosen One died, and survived a war she’d believed she wouldn’t live to see the end of. So now her and her soulmate, Leto, have to learn what it is to have a normal life after surviving everything life and luck threw at them.
Leto: A golden skinned tiefling paladin who was accidentally created when, as a scared child having the worst day of her life, Draven wished for a friend. This bound Draven, Leto, and the monster who granted the wish together with an unbreakable chain. Eventually Draven found a way to kill the demon, and she and Leto are learning how to live a normal life after being child soldiers.
Ileark Keita: I have shared custody of Ileark with my DM from his campaign, because while I made Ileark, she made his backstory. Ileark is a changeling cleric of Desna who spent much of his life running from his birth mother, who he eventually learned was the goddess of nightmares Alazhra. Now free from her machinations, he’s become an immortal servitor of Desna who travels the universe stopping the plans of The Great Old Ones and their cults.
Calio Caecos: Despite my best attempts at not choosing a favorite, Calio is my favorite and it’s not even close. A human oracle who was an unabashed playboy bastard in his younger years. One thing led to another, he died in a cave, got raised as a skeleton by the worst person alive, learned he’s a natural at necromancy, made a deal with Baba Yaga to be mostly resurrected, was a double agent for Baba Yaga against her daughter Queen Elvanna, slept with Grigori Rasputin, was killed again, and was resurrected with no memories of the last year and a day. And this was all just his backstory 😂 He made some friends against his will, fell in love (which he didn’t think he was capable of), got mind-linked to a dragon whose empathy Calio borrows (I call Talsune Calio’s seeing-eye-dragon except for with empathy), got mad that the path to lichdom would involve sacrificing one of said friends and he was too soft because of them to go through with it, gave away his wish to attempt to redeem the worst person alive (who is not currently alive), and got the powers of a demi-god anyways. His character growth was as unexpected to me as it was him and I love that for him.
Mau Ornelos-Servos: A grumpy old cat with a bad leg who just wants to live his life in peace. Mau was forced to adventure when the BBEG burned his house down. Mau was adopted by two human women, his mother and ma, along with three adopted siblings. Mau was the adult of the party and the undisputed leader of the Menagerie despite not really considering himself leaderly. As it goes.
Morri Ornelos-Servos: One of Mau’s sisters. She is an aasimar oracle who is cursed to see visions of the future that she is incapable of changing. She has a long running prank war with her siblings. She learned to fight from her ma, and can be surprisingly brash and hotheaded at times. Receiving the Mark of Wrath in Runeforge didn’t help cool this temper any. She is now traveling with her girlfriend, Nualia.
Corvus Branwen: A tiefling with raven wings who was basically raised by psychopomps. He now acts as an agent of the psychopomps protecting the cycle of life and death. He has an extremely inhuman way of looking at things, especially death and grief.
Lucanus Sarius (aka Luke Azurosa): A young human summoner from House Sarius. His father was killed in an ‘accident’ that he is trying to prove was caused by a vindictive noble who is gathering support to become the country’s next ruler, who Lucanus’ father spoke against. He is pretending to belong to the house of his friend, Cassius, and puts on a show of being a flippant air-headed noble to deflect suspicion. He pretends his Eidolon, Najah, is a ‘rare flame-point cougar from Tian-Xia’ and hides the summoning rune on his forehead under a headband.
Falcos: A teenage human magus/rogue whose father was an abusive pos who worships a god of accidental death. So you can see why he’d be a little fucked up when he almost died in a training “accident,” which badly scarred his face and made his right hand basically unusable. When he saw some other people fleeing the technofacist cult his dad is head of, he jumped on the bandwagon and helped them escape. He only told them who his dad was after it was too late for them to send him back.
(Luke and Falcos are for campaigns that haven’t been played yet, so info on them may be more sparse than the others and might change a bit between then and now)
