love is not just the soft place but also the place where you have to look at yourself and ask, “can i be better? can i be kinder? can i give more? can i listen more? can i grow? can i support?” 

I would really like to start seeing more autistic representation in a wider range of genres instead of just drama. Give us autistic characters in fantasy and scifi settings. Imagine how cool seeing a canonically autistic person (and have them actually use the word autistic) on a crew of a futuristic spaceship akin to a Star Trek-esque show. Give us a character in a superhero movie, and by that I mean an actual superhero not just a background character. Give us a sitcom starring an autistic character. Or give us a romantic comedy with an autistic character as one of the leads. Or give us a badass autistic character surviving in a post-apocalyptic world or in an action movie. I just feel like, most of the time, whenever we get an autistic character, it's usually in the same genre and it would be nice to get some variation (and if we could get autistic actors to play them that would be even better)
