Even if nothing comes out of this, we can at least show them we’re not happy with their choices. I was already a low spender, but I will no longer be financially supporting the game and will potentially drop it completely, depending on whether or not they add Valko back. Not just because I was excited for him and wanted to main him, but because of the message it sends. Infold has chosen the side of racists, parasocial losers, and bullies. They’ve validated their behavior and allowed them to create a hostile environment for everyone else over a VIDEO GAME. I was looking forward to Valko’s release because he looks like a fun and exciting addition to Love and Deepspace, and I recently found a wonderful community of fellow excited women and queer people to share joy with over his release. These beautiful people are the complete antithesis of who Infold has chosen to stand with, and it sends a message. They’ve been sending a message for a while now that they care about us less, but this is a clear statement of “you are not welcome here”. I suggest everyone signs, even if it may mean nothing in the end. And, remember that no matter how you choose to engage with the game going forward, your feelings are valid and the joy you felt over the game in the past doesn’t have to be looked back at with remorse. I’m so sorry to my fellow Hunters who are sad about this too 🫂
