“Grumble grumble grumble… ‘masterpost’ …grumble grumble grumble….”
Paintcrab has decided he should probably have a masterpost (pinned post? intro post?), so this exists
This is my main blog, so it’s full of stuff. If you’re here for my prompts, go check out #paintcrab’s whump collection or look at my top posts. If you’re here for my world ramblings & character things that don’t fit on my creative sideblog… what? how!?
Masterpost only exists because of my whump prompts, so it’s about the whump. I might replace it with my beloved monster child post because i prefer it. Dunno.
So! I make prompts whenever i think about what i’m writing/planning to write. Those prompts are linked to character masterposts on my sideblog (where you can find my stories + art) and the actual story episode (once it’s complete).
Please tag @paintcrab if you write something inspired by one of my prompts! I am curious!
I like writing/you may find: recovery whump, hurt/comfort, language barriers, caretaker new master (ESPECIALLY when there’s two caretakers and only one of them is scary to whumpee), pet whump (non-institutional), collar/chains, restraints, parental caretakers + young whumpees, conditioned/trained whumpees, nonhuman whumpees, carnivorous nonhumans (gore + hunting), human caretakers & nonhuman caretakers (who interact with whumpee differently), bathing/washing, living weapon whump (new!),
Sometimes do/neutral about: sick/medical whump, drugged whumpee, isolation whump, starvation whump
Unlikely to write/picky about: mind control whump, physical abuse
Will not do/not my cup of tea: bad caretakers/carewhumpers, parental whumpers, caretaker turned whumper, intimate/creepy whumpers, nsfwhump, royal whump, dark/heavy whump, forced to watch, romantic or sexual relationships
I keep my prompts gender neutral, even if the characters i’m thinking of are gendered (neopronouns + they/them + it/its in prompts) (i prefer gender neutral prompts, which is why i do that)
“OH!!! #paintcrab talks is my tag for updates & speaking ‘in character’! That’s a thing i should mention. Also #oc stuff is incorrect quotes-type stuff about my characters. Who get tagged ‘[short. setting name] [character name]’ for clarity.”
