daytimes a drag, nighttimes worse

every morning i pass by the same chevrolet caprice classic when im leaving or showing up for work… its always parked in the same alleyway, facing the same way, always draped in harsh shadow cast by the streetlights, you can only tell its a caprice by the shape of the bumper that can just barely be made out from what little light hits the car and the reflections in the glass headlights… its very menacing… it always feels like something out of a mob movie, or maybe a horror. all i know is that my heart would probably skip a beat if i saw it pull out onto the road after passing by it. theres something about the slow, lumbering beasts of the body on frame days that carry such an aura about them, especially when you have a mind that likes to wander… its a good thing you cant ask such a machine "what have you seen" because im not sure i want the answer.
