No Doubt in Us, How Dare You, Psychic Princess s2 & Are You OK

China released another 3DCG romance comedy donghua for this season! Psychic Princess s2! Apothecary Diaries is so popular recently so I hope China realize there's a market for this outside China. I'm really happy they release official english subs now.

Psychic Princess - The season 1 is in 2D but this title is one of the relevant donghua together with Cinderella Chef that welcome me to try out watching donghua. Its simply because I was thirsty for long haired ML since I like Saiukoku Monogatari and JP animation barely satisfy me. Sure, there are SaiMono, Fushigi Yuugi, Akatsuki no Yona and Raven of the Inner Palace but its still rare. Most of them don't even have season 2. Its a once in blue moon kinda event. Pychic Princess s2 OP is not my taste. Its not the music but they bend the character model's limb in the most uncanny way that I don't like. Fortunately, the content is still decent. As always, you can watch it in Bilibili's official youtube channel. Its about a girl who can see ghost and has supernatural power being marry off to the prince after she was threatened by her bad parents that they will kill her servants who raise her and always with her since she was a child if she didn't obey them.

Are You OK - This donghua is relevant to me in a way its one of my introduction to 3DCG donghua because I'm not used to watching it. Yes, I watched it in the game or idol performance but never as fully 3DCG anime series. The story is not focusing on straight romance and has big gays main cast but I believe you can still watch it because its fun. And the supporting straight couple have their own spotlight so they didn't feel like side characters. You will see their romance develop in the story. The donghua team are possibly using them against censorship but I like that they even make an insert song as if its a scene from disney movie for their confession scene.

No Doubt in Us - I think this is one of the most successful completed romance 3DCG despite having less than 15 mins duration per episode. A love story between the emperor and his empress. Despite being married, they don't have good relationship as spouses until they body swapped. They then learn they like each other before even marrying but politics and villains got in the way. Its a story of them building trust in their relationship. Its really good. In addition, we have an implied gay couple as supporting characters.
