While pentacles are often associated with the tangible world, I’d like to examine the intangible forms of stability and security. Often times individuals with these characteristics have faced adversity and difficult life experiences. The heart of stoic philosophy and in my personal experience, the truest forms of alchemy, rest on the principle of virtue being cultivated through hardship. How can I honor what my soul is releasing? By allowing what I am attracting to enter into my life. Sometimes we expend so much energy reaffirming our past we ignore the present moment. Part of acceptance is allowing new things to enter. Receiving is an art form in and of itself. If we desire attraction and attention we have to allow it. Sometimes we are unconsciously in conflict with our own best interests because we are frightened of actually getting our dreams. If we did we’d have to change how we relate to ourselves.
