Have you guys noticed how much the internet/technology just does not listen to you anymore? I click “don’t show this artist” on Spotify and I get recommended a music video by them on the front page. I click “skip this update” on a pop up every time I open a file organization app and it’s right back there every time. I click unsubscribe on a newsletter and it keeps showing up in my inbox!! I click “delete my account” and the next time I open the website they suggest I “reactivate”.

i feel like liberals are obsessed with finding a category of people you're allowed to scapegoat and want dead. like if it's not drug addicts it's criminals, if it's not criminals it's pedophiles, and politics is about slotting different disadvantaged demographics into those categories. every homeless person is a potential drug addict/criminal, every non-white person is a criminal, every trans woman is a child predator, etc. i think the only way to kill this tendency and prevent there from being a dehumanized category of person upon which all violence is justified is to deconstruct and humanize these categories.
