For Eddie being in a relationship could be a good thing because it means he's choosing to "follow his heart" and allow himself to deserve good things. Not that Jon would be a good partner, but still, Eddie taking the steps to stop denying his feelings, which are implied to contain a crush on Jon, would be a very positive development.

The alternative is interesting too, where a relationship doesn't work for either of them. Eddie's heart is still lost and Jon keeps putting high standards for him anyway without actually listening. It could end up being a bit toxic from both sides which honestly I'd be down for!! but I don't think we'll get that.

Ideally for me though, Jon would reject him because we know he hasn’t really gotten over Jay, and most importantly, him being self aware enough to understand why he struggles with being in a relationship would also be such a good development. Either that or they try it and it doesn't work because let's be honest, the reason why Jayjon broke up might strike agin because Jon hasn't actually worked that much on himself yet. That would be a pretty shitty deal for Eddie, but I really don't want Jon to stop facing the consequences of his actions before he truly addresses where they come from.

At the end of the day though, I barely know anything about Eddie so I am of course biased. I'd of course prefer it if either Jayjon are endgame or for Jon and Eddie to end up alone and for this editorial to actually care about jay and give him an ongoing...
