one thing I’ll never forgive American historians for is making Alexander Hamilton more and more manly and macho looking, the more time went one.. like what happened to referring to our contemporary sources, those being “delicate features”, “feminine rosiness”, “slight”, “so youthful and handsome that other men seem either jealous of, or attracted to, him", “boyish”…. You get the point.
