Hi, I created this blog to have a space to review and discuss Yuri comics, novels, games etc. I’d also like to compare yuri with similar plot/couples to similar bl or het couples and works. And I wanted to have a space free from the discourse and puritanical thinking discussed further in the rules section of this post.

I think whether or not a review is positive it can still help someone to decide to read that work as tastes vary. I will also be avoiding these words in my reviews : problematic, fetishization, male gaze, female gaze, toxic, pure,heteronormative, sexualized, and goon. So I hope to provide all context I can to help people decide whether or not to read/watch something. I’d also like my blog to be open and helpful to you whether or not you’re new to Yuri, already a fan, or just like reading reviews (my incoherent rambling). I do aim for this to be a fan blog rather than a platform for monetizing. So anything I review will be something I’m actually interested in and purchased with my own money.

I’m happy you’ve discovered this blog. However I do reserve the right to delete comments and block accounts if they engage in the following behaviors on my blog :

1. Bigotry. Racism,xenophobia, transphobia,homophobia, and misogyny will not be tolerated.

2. Gatekeeping i.e Who is allowed to read/write queer content discourse. Speculation on the gender/sexuality of writers or other readers.

3. BL vs GL discourse.

4. Pro censorship “If you write this you should be arrested.”

5. No bullying, doxxing, suicide baiting, and any attempts to drum up a hate mob will not be allowed nor will threats.

6. Morality of taste. No “I’m morally superior to you because I like x rather than y.” comments.

I am not interested in feeding the trolls. Any asks sent in bad faith will be deleted. And I will add further rules to this as needed.
