When creating this zine, we wanted to make space for everyone who enjoys SatoSugu as a ship and resonates with the idea that love itself can become a curse. From that came our theme: reimagining SatoSugu as curses in any way that feels authentic to you, your interpretation, and their relationship.

Ethos

Our goal is creating a space where people with different preferences can come together without restrictions and judgement. Those preferences may include different top/bottom or vers/switch dynamics (or if you don't feel represented by either of those labels), as well as the exploration of darker themes that are already inherent to the manga itself.

With that in mind, we are not placing content restrictions on this zine beyond the central theme. You're welcome to submit any work that fits the theme and feels authentic to your creative vision.

Tagging

In the same spirit, we are not enforcing a specific tagging system. We trust contributors to tag their works responsibly with any themes or content they feel are important for readers to know. And we will use the same tags and content labels they chose for their work while assembling the zine and while promoting the works on our socials.

Prompting

If you're not a writer or an artist, you can still participate via submitting prompts to the zine that will fit the theme to inspire the contributors. Contributors then can claim those prompts and work to bring them to life with their vision.

Applications

Applications for the zine will open after the prompting period ends and the prompts have been shared on our official socials. We don't have a participant cap, and we'd be happy to welcome anyone who is excited to contribute and willing to follow the zine's guidelines.

More than anything, we hope this zine becomes a space where people can celebrate SatoSugu in all the ways that resonate with them. Fandom is at its best when there's room for different interpretations, creative approaches, and perspectives to coexist with mutual respect.
