Don’t get me wrong I love a good fixit even if I don’t actually like the fixit. Like, I think if you’re frustrated with a story channeling that into creativity is, conceptually, one of the best things you can do.

That said I do think a lot of people put a lot of energy into fixing the wrong things. “Things Go Right For Once” is totally fun but only for about three thousand words tops. “They have defeated the stupid boring repetitive conflict from season three easily so the season four conflict can be bigger and badder and start earlier and kill more people” is great for three hundred thousand words.
