I haven’t had a single evening off since the first week of may bc my part time job was so short staffed BUT I have like 4 days off this week which means I finally have time to start ilya’s bday set YAYYYY

Shane always thinking about breaking things off but then completely forgetting about it when they’d meet up or Ilya thinking about breaking things off between them after Shane’s accident is so funny to me bc although Shane was constantly thinking about this before their encounters, Ilya was always thinking, “surely this is the summer Shane is going to break things off. he’s going to really do it this time” every summer for like 4 years straight, but then he’d text Shane his hotel number, Shane would show up & then they’d both melt into puddles. like, I’m sorry, but I truly don’t think either of them would’ve gone through w/ ending things. I don’t even want to believe Ilya when he thought about ending things in the hospital room when he kept waiting for Shane to do it first, he was in too deep so early on & at that point? no. fucking. chance. this was so destined in a way they couldn’t even begin to comprehend & I love that for them. I love my deniers. I love my liars. I love my hollanov that never ended it <3

driving home w/ tears in my eyes bc I got to the part where Ryan gets a phone call from Wyatt where he tells him he’s getting traded to Ottawa & he’s devastated bc the one & only real hockey friend he’s ever had is leaving… the only teammate who made an effort to get to know Ryan… to ever ask him to hang out… to see him as a person & not a monster or consider him some sort of freak… the broships in this series are so personal to me u_____u
