Ok I watched it, it was fine, nowhere near as good as Superman unfortunately. Not what I want to focus on. Theres a line in this movie that led me and my friends to lose our minds analyzing on the way home. During the flashback sequence for Kara's parents, her mother looks at Clark's escape pod as it launches and says something close to "Thats Kal-El, the baby your brother has deemed a conqueror". She says it in a tone that indicates she thinks its ridiculous. Then, when Kara is being loaded into her escape pod her father tells her that "You will have great power, and you must use it to protect those who cannot protect themselves ".

Dialogue:

“Hello, my name is Cassandra.

I, and the people outside, come from the Hamato Resistance.

As it seems, a tragedy occurred without our notice—and for that, I'm sorry on behalf of us all.

[Pause] …There's no one left, boy. We searched everywhere, but you're the only person we've come across. Because of that, you'll have to come stay with us for a little while, okay?”

[No response]

“…okay.”

Background Information

Anyway, I've been wanting to detail how Cassandra got Casey in the first place. A long time ago, I said Casey came from an Independent settlement in/around Virginia (?). And, that he'd been spotted wandering around by members of the Hamato Vanguard in wake of his community's death.

But, I recently realized that wouldn't have made sense. A child wouldn't survive torrential winds, subzero temperatures, and the vastness that is the United States some decades into a future of recurrent destruction without the aid of magic, mysticism, technology, or adaptations—however they occur.

Realistically, Casey would have been taught to stay in one place until help comes, which is what he's doing in the picture.

The Hamato Resistance, as Casey's settlement was within their territory, came across the camp a couple days after the incident. By then, the murderer was long-gone, and their victims were lost beneath layers of snow, or, as Cassandra's group soon discovered, frozen statues slumped in unfortunate resting places.

They searched high and low—sweeping homes, storerooms, garages, and sifting through snow—only to find one person dead, and another (Casey) hungry, tired, and fearful. It'd taken three people to wrangle the shotgun from the boy, but at Cassandra's insistence, they allowed the boy to cling to it until they reached Base.

From then on, Cass stayed as close to the boy as she could. She stood by while he was tended to in Medical; fed him; and every night, sat with Casey until the boy fell asleep.

When the time came for the boy to be discharged, Cassandra kneeled down and asked if he'd like to come live with her. By noon, the boy's young record was officially titled Casey Arnold Jones ll.

This was supposed to be a little fun doodle before bed. I was supposed to go to sleep 4 hours ago. I LEARNED DAVINCI RESOLVE FOR THIS!!!!

—and so, Mikey goes around different places to help where he can.

I figured that, with the size of the Resistance, Mikey's expertise wouldn't really be in high demand most of the time. There are enough magicians/people with a basic understanding of magic that Mikey wouldn't be called upon unless the situation is dire.

Because of this, I figured Mikey'd do well in Public Service's because of the side array of jobs he could take up, and the various ways he could help people.

In the picture, Mikey wears a bunch of braces. I figured that his mystically-induced ultra-aging would begin with joint issues and progress into the usual symptoms of old age, plus the whatever effects of growing old too quickly pop up. I'd like to think the effects of aging has more to do with his human DNA, back I have no reasoning to back up that headcannon.

Excuse how lanky he looks. On one hand, you could say that's also a result of ultra-aging, but whenever I draw Mikey I try to keep him square.

Photo Details

“目的” or Mokuteki translates to “Purpose” in English. I went to Google Translate and found out there were bunches of words for purpose that are probably used in contexts I didn't care to learn. But, according to different websites saying the same thing, the translation (and characters) are correct.

Our perspective is that of another resistance member. The specific identity doesn't matter. However, our relation to Mikey is distant enough that we have no background knowledge of him besides his current role as a healer—hence the label over his face.

Though this wasn't shown as well as I imagined it'd be, Mikey's hands are also an important part of this picture. They're wrapped in tight bandages meant to manage the tremors wracking through his body, and are held in a position that almost looks painful.

As this AU has developed, I've come to realize that the turtles likely wouldn't have specific, dedicated roles within the Resistance due to the size of their group. In other's works I've read, this issue doesn't come up because the 'danger' aspect of the apocalypse is shown by the moderate to small population that either Raph or Leo leads. I will admit that my own AU doesn't reflect this, seeing as many parts of it were created out of inspiration for other's works (e.g., the thought of having multiple rebellions and the concept of a society). With there being ~10,00 people under Hamato jurisdiction, it's hard to put people in places without overcrowding—hence why there are tons of departments and factions for anything conceivable in the apocalypse.

Of course, things don't last forever. As the Hamato forces began to dwindle, focus shifted from combat and sieges to survival at the basic level. Strange diseases began to pop up in the last years of all rebellions, beginning as a cold and evolving into odd and never-seen-before conditions—most of which being terminal. Healers of the magic/mystic variety were in high demand, especially once the foreign illnesses spread from Offense soldiers to the other departments.

Mikey was called upon frequently. Fast and efficient, his mystics were all encompassing: treating both wounds and sicknesses; augmenting healing factors; and rejuvenating the recipient.

Unfortunately, Mikey's neverending work as a healer accelerated his mystic aging.

In just three years, Mikey appeared to be twice his age. His body became weak—something so simple as walking was a tremendous effort, pain riddling Mikey's body due to the immense stress placed upon it.

As much as Mikey's family (and Mikey, to an extent) wanted him to stop, he ultimately had no choice but to heal. It's what Mikey was known to do, and he could never turn down someone asking for help.

For example in one scene the character is a bust and in a different scene that same character is a full body.

Would I just list full body or would i list bust and full body and add the character twice?

The number of characters you add to your animations should be per scene not per unique frame. A scene is the section in your animation that occurs between each camera transition/ cut.
