I Have No Idea What I’m doing... BUT it's fun!

I'm a gamer and writer, who currently is avoiding doing any original works by writing fan fiction. Mainly I write RWBY based stories, centred around Jaune Arc. I have pages on both AO3 and FF.net.

WARNING: If you are easily offended, triggered or under the age of 18 you ARE WARNED! While I try and keep things in "PG" zone, I will cross over into themes that you may find disturbing. DISCRETION IS ADVISED.

DM's Welcome: I am always willing to chat, or discuss my works. Feel free to point out errors or inconsistencies. I can not improve as a writer without honest and constructive feedback. Just be polite and civil.

Jaune Gender-Bender: So I figured this should be put out there. I write a lot. Most of it is weird and hints at my insanity... HOWEVER I do seem to often gravitate towards gender-bending Jaune. I do my best to tag those stories properly, and keep them in the Fem!Jaune Collection. If you find one that isn't please let me know, as I am aware that more than a few people find gender-bents not worth reading.

I'm also trying something new at least for me. I'm playing with "Perchance text-to-image" to add some illustrations (when I can get it to give me something I think I can use) for my stories. It won't happen often, and the images are nice... but bear a very passing resemblance to the characters I'm trying to create. If someone knows a better "free-ish" software that I could use, please let me know.

Original Anime Idea : My Wife is a Dwarven Ghost!

J(a)une: After you left I was so alone, and then Mama found me. She knew who I was instantly... she cried and hugged and cried.

Pyrrha: J(a)une... are you okay?

J(a)une: I'm fine, Pyr. I saved you from the liar, and now we can all be happy together.

Pyrrha: What do you mean?

J(a)une: You, Cindy, and I. We can be a family and live with Mama.

Cinder: But my plans. Her plans!

J(a)une: I changed those plans.

Jaune's unnerving smile vanished. Her face turning blank and emotionless. Pyrrha took a step back, keeping some distance between her and the thing that was once her crush. Surprisingly, Cinder appeared at her side.

Cinder: She'll be upset if we fail her. You can't change her plans! She wouldn't allow it!

J(a)une: She had no choice but to allow it.

Pyrrha and Cinder took several steps backward away from J(a)une as long black nails sprouted from her fingertips.

Pyrrha: What do you mean had?

J(a)une: Mama has been punished like Dada...

Cinder: Not possible! She's immortal!

J(a)une: Was Cindy. She was immortal.

Pyrrha and Cinder watched as J(a)une put all of her focus on Headmaster Ozpin.

J(a)une: Do you remember Dada? That day? The day we were going to run from Mama? Do you?

Ozpin: This can't be...

J(a)une: But it is Dada. When it all happened... I was made. In pain, and cold, and darkness. I was so alone... so very alone.

Ozpin: You're an abomination. You shouldn't exist.

J(a)une: But I do, and you helped make me... but you didn't help me. Not even Mama knew about me... until...

Pyrrha: Until what, J(a)une?

J(a)une: Until Cindy found me. She found me and held me and talked to me.

Pyrrha turned her head towards where Cinder had collapsed. The newly formed maiden was just lying there, staring at J(a)une and the headmaster. Her shock etched across her face.

Ozpin: ARGHHHH!!!

That sound instantly drew Pyrrha's attention. She snapped her head around and found, to her absolute surprise, Headmaster Ozpin staggering backwards, clutching at his gut. In an utterly hopeless attempt to hold back his insides from spilling through the massive slash across his midsection. Standing before him, her head tilted to the side. Soulless black eyes shining in the light of the room stood J(a)une.

J(a)une: You hurt me a long time ago. You tried to hurt Cindy and Pyr. Now I hurt you.

Cinder: No... you're not real. You were so small...

J(a)une turned from the obviously dying headmaster towards Pyrrha and Cinder. Pyrrha took a step back, her eyes growing wide at the sight of J(a)une's blood-coated right hand.

J(a)une: I was... but I grew up. I became big like you.

Pyrrha screamed in utter terror and sorrow as the love of her life. The woman she would have done anything for was violently thrown into the far wall of the massive room. Encased within the capsule, she could do nothing. Absolutely nothing but watch J(a)une crumple to the floor in a heap.

Cinder: With that waste of a huntress out of the way, all that stands between me and my destiny is you, Ozpin.

Pyrrha's voice echoed about inside the capsule as she slammed her fists against reinforced glass. All those words about how this is all for the greater good. Remnant, who was in need of her, vanished. All that mattered was J(a)une, and being denied holding her was driving her into madness.

Pyrrha continued her struggles, ignoring everything but J(a)une's motionless form. She never saw the arrow that punched through the canopy of Amber's capsule. Never saw the surge of energy that enveloped Cinder. What she did see was J(a)une move.

Cinder: You've failed, Ozpin, or should I call you Ozama?

Ozpin: She's just using you! Everything she is offering is a lie! A deception!

Cinder: Deception? She has offered me power!

Cinder slowly floats into the air.

Cinder: AND THIS IS POWER!!!

Ozpin never letting his eyes leave Cinder's levitating form backed up and hit the emergency release, freeing Pyrrha from her potential glass coffin.

Ozpin: Ms Nikos, you have...

Pyrrha: J(A)UNE!!!

Ozpin: Ms. Nikos, you have to flee. J(a)une is go...

Ignoring everyone's shouts, Cinder prepares to launch an attack but pauses when she sees Ozpin drop his cane, letting it clatter against the metal floor.

J(a)une: That hurt Cindy.

Cinder: Cindy? Who dares?

Cinder spun about and then froze as the broken and twisted form of J(a)une rose from the floor using the wall for support. Everyone flinched as they heard sounds that reminded them of snapping bones. They all watched as J(a)une reached up and not only reseated her jaw but also used her hands to snap her head about until it was seated properly. Before blinking her eyes rapidly and looking up at Cinder.

Cinder: NO!

J(a)une: You're playing too rough, Cindy. Way too rough.

Cinder's powers failed her, and she fell a full ten feet to the metal floor, collapsing in a heap. From her new position, she looked up at the figure who was staring at her.

Cinder: How? Why? When?

Pyrrha: J(a)une? Are you okay?

J(a)une turned her head towards Pyrrha a warm smile on her lips, but soulless black eyes replaced where once vibrant blues had been.

J(a)une: I'm fine, Pyr. Are you okay?

Ozpin: ABOMINATION!

J(a)une, bent herself in half backwards to avoid Ozpin's frantic strike attempt! Righting herself, she whipped about to face the frazzled ageless wizard.

J(a)une: That was rude.

Ozpin: You shouldn't exist! You're an abomination!

J(a)une: Abomination. That's a big word, and I guess I could be that... though Mama likes to call me her little doll.

Ozpin: Only someone like her would ever...

J(a)une: Watch what you say, Dada... you helped make me.

Ozpin staggered back at the sudden unhinged grin on J(a)une's face.

Jaune and Pyrrha were walking about Beacon's expansive gardens. Fingers entwined and smiles upon their lips when suddenly Jaune stops and hyperfocuses on a pair of figures walking towards them.

Pyrrha: Jaune, is something wrong?

Jaune: I, uh, maybe we should...

Ozpin: Ms. Nikos! Mr. Arc! How fortunate to meet you here. Let me introduce you to General Ironwood.

Pyrrha: Hello. Pleasure to...

Jaune suddenly steps between Pyrrha and the pair of headmasters, his trusty guitar in his hands. His fingers quickly began to pluck the strings.

Jaune: 🎵 You can look, but you can't touch. 🎶

Ozpin & Ironwood: ????

Jaune: 🎶I don't think I like you much.🎵

Ozpin: Well um...

Ironwood: ...

Pyrrha: Jaune?

Jaune: Pleasure meeting you both. Pyr shall we?

Pyrrha: *With a beaming smile.* Yes, we shall.

After Jaune and Pyrrha are well out of earshot, Ironwood turns to Ozpin.

Ironwood: It seems Mr. Arc may know more than we think he does.

Ozpin: It's not possible. It's not.

Ironwood: We need to watch him.

Ironwood looks back in the direction that Pyrrha and Jaune had walked off, only to see Jaune standing there alone, looking at him, with a slight, unnerving smile.

The world slowed around him as he made a beeline towards Beacon Tower. He inwardly cursed himself for having left Beacon and leaving Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora without his guidance and support. Not that it counted for much in those first couple of months, but still.

"I wouldn't have let her rush off alone."

As he moved through the chaos, he did what good he could. Popping shots off at multiple targets of opportunity. On more than one occasion, probably saving the lives of those trying to defend Beacon and Vale.

Closing on Beacon Tower, Jaune suddenly felt dizzy, almost nauseous, followed by a sudden wave of vertigo. Stumbling to a stop, he doubled over and retched. He dry heaved for a few more seconds before spitting. Raising his head, he focused his sight on the top of the tower. He knew Pyrrha was up there, as was the bitch who started the attack.

Forcing himself to stand straight, he quickly began to formulate a plan.

Cinder suddenly stumbled. The sudden onset of weakness caused her attack to be whiffed. Missing the outmatched form of Pyrrha by the slimmest of margins. Seizing upon the opening, Pyrrha snatched Milo up from the floor while reaching out with her semblance. Above the disoriented form of Cinder one of the massive metal gears shifted.

"This ends here!" Pyrrha cried out as she dashed forward, Milo chambered to strike while using her semblance to pull the massive gear free.

"Nice try." Cinder snarled as she deflected not only Pyrrha's attack but also evaded the free-falling hunk of metal that was supposed to crush her. "With a little more training and some actual backbone, that might have worked."

Cinder spun about, a second sword appearing in her free hand. Pyrrha brought her Akuno up to absorb and deflect the vicious attacks.

"You should run away, girl! You stand no chance against..." the shattering of a window cut off Cinder's taunt. Pyrrha seized the chance and dove to the side, rolling away from Cinder's attack and towards cover, just as the sounds of gun fire filled the room.

"Die!" Cinder screamed.

"You first!" replied a voice Pyrrha knew very well.

"Jaune?" Pyrrha looked out from behind the headmaster's desk to see Jaune and Cinder, her swords locked against the pistols in his hands.

"Who are you? What are you?" Cinder spat as she did her best to force the young blond backwards towards the shattered window.

Jaune replied with a twisted grin before shifting his weight, removing all the resistance Cinder was pushing against. While also bringing his knee up and driving it into her unprotected kidney area. Cinder grunted in pain and stumbled. Drawing on the new power inside her, she managed to keep from falling out of the ruined window while also ascending into the air away from the volley of bullets that tore up the floor she had been standing on just moments before.

"Too late, hero boy!" Cinder scoffed as he floated well out of reach, or at least she thought she was. Jaune just smirked, ran towards the nearest wall, jumped against it, and then off it to propel himself skyward. Cinder dived towards the floor, evacuating the spot Jaune aimed for, and flew through.

Pyrrha was stunned into inaction. Cinder had been toying with her, and here was Jaune. The worst combat student in Beacon, not only holding his own against a foe that was besting Pyrrha but also forcing said woman to act defensively?

Ruby was struggling to keep the onrushing Grimm from getting to Weiss as the SDC heiress was doing her best to try and reach Professor Goodwitch via scroll.

"Weiss!" Ruby screamed as a beowulf slipped past and charged headlong towards the unprepared huntress-in-training. "WEISS!"

Weiss' head snapped up, and dropping her scroll, she fumbled with her weapon as the grimm beast rapidly closed upon her. Emerging from a burst of life to her far side, a figure they both knew appeared. Jaune said nothing as he threw himself through the air into the side of the Beowulf with a dropkick.

The twin reports of pistols going off echoed about the immediate area. The grim was already almost bent in half from the impact of both of Jaune's feet suddenly bursting, throwing a gout of black ichor across the ground. With superhuman grace and agility Jaune landed on his feet. Drawing his second pair of pistols, he dashed forward past Ruby.

"Jaune?" Weiss stammered, completely shocked that the young man was suddenly beside them, eliminating Grimm with exceptional skill.

"Jaune?" Ruby whispered, slightly out of breath, as she witnessed the reappearance of her best and first friend, months after he left without a word of goodbye.

"What are you doing?" Jaune shouted as he pivoted about in a perfect pirouette, while apparently not only landing multiple bullseye hits on the swarming Grimm with the pistols in his hands but also the ones on his feet.

"I..." Ruby stammered, still in shock.

"I have to get hold of Professor Goodwitch!" Weiss shouted.

"Why?" Jaune countered as he once again obliterated more Grimm with his foot-mounted pistols while executing seamless snapping and high kicks.

"Pyrrha told me too!" Weiss replied as she scooped up her scroll and once again dialed Professor Goodwitch's scroll number. "Something about the tower!"

"For fuck's sakes." Jaune cursed before adding, "Get somewhere safer. I'm going to help Pyr!"

"Jaune?" Ruby tentatively asked, "Where were you?"

"Later, Ruby. I promise," Jaune responded before suddenly becoming a blur of motion and vanishing in the direction of Beacon Tower.

Pyrrha was frozen with fear and indecision as she watched the streak of light that had to be Cinder scaling Beacon Tower. She could still hear the headmaster's words as he shoved her towards the elevator.

"Protect the tower."

Taking a deep breath, she released it slowly and prepared to make the ascent. She knew her chances of success, let alone survival, were abysmal. But if she could even delay the raven-haired murderess until help could arrive, the risk would be worth it. Pulling out her scroll as she rushed forward towards the elevator, she tapped the first contact that appeared.

"Pyrrha?" came Weiss' strained voice.

"Find Professor Goodwitch. Tell her I need her help at the tower!"

"Wait! What?"

"Find Goodwitch!" Pyrrha yelled a second time before hanging up.

In the chaos-filled streets of Vale a blond-haired figure moved. HE moved as if dancing. A quadruple set of matching handguns, one in each hand and one attached to the back and heel of each of his ankle boots, cutting down every grimm he came across. It had been around five months since he had been "pushed" out of Beacon by Professor Goodwitch and Headmaster Ozpin... for reasons.

"This is not good," he muttered to himself as he gazed up at Beacon and watched the billowing smoke and flares of fires. "I don't care what the ass and cunt said. I have to help."

"Look out!" came a scream from behind him. The shrill sound broke him out of his thoughts. Just in time to see a car flying straight at him. Holstering one of his guns, he snapped his hand up. With the ease of someone catching a fly ball, he caught the two-ton projectile.

"I'm in a hurry," he snapped as a rather large Beringil roared at him. "Let's play catch."

Tilting back slightly on his feet, he extended his arm back and then snapped it forward, propelling the wrecked vehicle towards his target. The impact crumpled the remains of the car and obliterated the upper half of the grimm beast.

I have a few, most of which are all on FF.net and AO3.

On AO3 and FF.net are my "Secrets," "Unleashed," and "Monster" AUs, with "Secrets" being my absolute favorite. On Tumblr I would have to say it's another close call with "Nora In" and "Saints of the Sword," with "Reluctant Hero" being the top. But I also have to say that ALL of the "A Mafia Au" (with @pilot-boi and @rwby-encrusted-blog), along with "the Arc Horde" (with @drenosa) are some of the best and funnest co-labs I have ever done.

Pyrrha sighed. She took a moment to understand where she was. It was obviously a corridor, a rather dark and unadorned one. Though it did have two points of interest. The first being the set of elevator like doors to her right. Doors that were currently sealed behind a thigh high wall of flames. The second point was, the other end of the corridor. It was shrouded in writhing shadows.

Pyrrha: It's like momma told me. This must be the Nexus.

Pyrrha let her finger tips glide along the smooth wall next to her. It didn't feel like anything unique. No strange texture. Weird feelings or pulses of energy. It felt just like a normal wall. She lifted her hand away and studied the tips of her fingers. Carefully she rolled them against each other. Pyrrha used the motion to distract herself from what had happened. She did it to force her focus to the here and now.

Pyrrha: Guess I should decide.

Pyrrha turned her gaze to the flame barred doors.

Pyrrha: Do I wait, or walk aw...

Pyrrha's emerald greens narrowed as at that moment she noticed a counter above the doors starting to activate. It blinked for a few moments and then the number started to progress. She knew from her mother's teachings this was a gate. Though she had no clue how it all worked.

Pyrrha: Well someone or something is going to be showing up rather soon. It would be rude not to greet them. I guess.

Pyrrha took a step back, opening more space between her and the barred doors, which in turn gave her more time to react to whatever may happen. A short time later a rather cheery ding echoed about the dim corridor. Pyrrha raised her hands and clutched them into fists, as a set of elevator doors slid open before her.

Pyrrha: Jaune?

Jaune: Hey Pyr.

Pyrrha: How? Why?

Jaune: Hold that thought for a second, and step to the left.

Pyrrha: Okay?

Pyrrha stepped to the left as Jaune grunted and threw a figure from the carriage through the barrier of flames. They grunted as they hit the hard floor. A second later the flames turned blue and then winked away.

Jaune: Shall we?

Pyrrha didn't need to ask what had just happened. Obviously Jaune knew the tales as well. She stepped froward past where the barrier used to be, and into the carriage next to Jaune. There was another cheery ding. Which was followed a second later by the flaming barrier re-igniting. The doors closed as the figure that Jaune had tossed out struggled to get to their feet.

Pyrrha: Jaune, who was that?

A sensation of rising, in a rather rapid fashion flowed through Pyrrha's body.

Jaune: It doesn't matter. Just don't make this a habit. Please?

Pyrrha: Okay, I'll do my best.

Emerald sat alone in a Valean safehouse. In her hands a puzzle box she had... liberated... from a strange little curio shop. There had been a few other things in that shop that had interested her, yet when she went back for a return visit... it was no longer there. So as she waited for Cinder and Mercury's return from a meeting with Roman she started to fiddle with the box.

Her mind wandered as she started to find the minute manipulations that changed how the box appeared. She was bored and tired; wondering if there was anything more to this world than the suffering she had lived through.

Emerald was a little shocked when small arcs of bluish energy danced along the surface of the cube as she continued to manipulate it's sides and shape.

Emerald: AHHH!

The cube rolled along the floor after a rather nasty shock danced up her arm.

Emerald: *Shaking her hand* Son of a bitch that hurt.

One final shake to rid her hand of the lingering pain and she reached down for the cube once again, only to stop when the hairs on the back of her neck stood up. Forgetting the cube she snatched her weapons from the table and spun about; aiming into the shadows behind her.

Emerald: Who is there?

?????: The box, you opened it I came.

Emerald: What the fuck? Who are you? What the FUCK are you?

?????: An explorer, in the further regions of experience. Demon to some, angel to others.

Emerald: ...

?????: Now you will come with me. Taste my pleasures.

Emerald: I'm not... AHHHHH!!!!

Emerald suddenly found herself in a crucifix pose as hooked chains shot out from the shadows, embedding in her hands and binding her feet.

Emerald: No *starting to sob*

?????: No tears please! It's a waste of good suffering.

But Emerald couldn't stop. Her sobbing grew more desperate as she began to pull against her restraints. She twisted her head away from the horrific and malevolent figure as he reached out towards her.

?????: There is something... familiar about you. A taint that I have long searched to find.

Emerald didn't answer and just continued to sob. Crying out in terror and pain when the being's hand latched upon her lower jaw and squeezed roughly.

?????: Answer me child.

Emerald: *sobbing* I... I don't know what you're talking about!

?????: You have been in the presence of the most profane and corrupted of souls. One of a pair I have long sought to bring to judgement!

Emerald: I...

?????: Her name is, or was... Salem. His name is or was Ozma. *Emerald's eyes widened in surprise* So you do know of one or both. Where are they?

Emerald: *sobbing* She'll kill me if I...

?????: She will not. She can not. Speak truth and under my protection you will be. Now where?

Emerald: She's in the grimm-lands. far to the north of here.

?????: I see. And Ozma?

Emerald: He's here in Vale. Beacon Academy.

?????: Thank you child.

Emerald fell to the floor the chains dematerializing around her. She looked up at him with tear stained cheeks.

?????: Tell me all you know.

Several hours later Emerald watched as a figure stepped on to the airship bound for Beacon. She had no idea how he had done it. What mystical tricks he had used. All she was certain of was that her not only was her life threatened but also her soul. Which was something until that very moment she had always doubted the existence of.

The figure turned just as he mounted the last step...

Emerald shivered. She was betraying Cinder by giving up Salem and Ozma to this entity. But she was always a survivor, and what she was doing was a survivor's choice. She just hoped he would honor his degree of her being under his protection.

Cinder's face was locked in a look of shock, horror and panic. Falling backwards onto her ass, she scrabble along the floor away from the entity that just appeared in Mistral safe-house.

Cinder: No... no... you're dead. You're dead!

Pyrrha: You're right... I am.

Cinder's attempt to flee finds herself pressed up against the rear most wall of the sitting room. Far away from any potential avenue of escape. The thought of using her Maiden abilities escaping her due to the utter shock of seeing Pyrrha Nikos... the young woman she turned to ash, approaching her.

Cinder: *Whimpering* No... this isn't happening.

Even the strongest person has limits. The greater the strength, the deeper the fall. Pyrrha Nikos, Champion and vaunted Huntress, had always struggled under the burden of her fame. Until one day it was just too much.
