I've received quite a few anonymous asks. One was nice and informative and I answered that one. The rest were not nice at all, so I'm disabling my ask button again. They weren't even constructively critical, they were just rude.

Angry anonymous asks are not a constructive use of anyone's time. You are better than this.

It was an obvious scam. Unfortunately I didn't think to save the "screenshot" before bae-rian deleted his account and vanished from my DMs but here were the red flags.

"Tumblr is taking action" - Tumblr does nothing about the fraud, abuse, scams, and hate on its platforms. Tumblr does not take action even when Tumblr's own accounts are being impersonated.

"the reported user is the subject of numerous reports, will not be notified of these reports, and their account has been queued for deletion" - why would Tumblr Support share this much information with one random person who reported?

"if the reported user wants to dispute they can use the contact information below: [link to discord and whatsapp]" - Tumblr is not going to tell you to go to a different social media platform to contact them. Immediate tell of a scam. Massive red flag. More importantly why would they provide the reporter with details on how the reported user should dispute the claims if they aren't even going to tell the reported user about it? Think about that for a second... Does that make any sense? No!

If you worked somewhere and reported your coworker for harassment, would HR tell you to go tell the bully they're being fired and give you (and you alone) instructions for how the bully can appeal that firing decision? Why on earth would they do that? Obvious scam.

Guess what I did? Reported the user for spam.

Did I get an email from Tumblr telling me they were going to delete the guy? No.

The England v Norway game was good. Norway's defense was rock-solid. England looked exhausted the whole match, but they persevered. I really don't see where the ball allegedly hit a camera cable. While I think England got incredibly lucky, I do think they won fair and square.

The Argentina v Switzerland game was a nice contrast. Very different styles of play from England V Norway. Tons of fouls and yellow cards. BUT, I think kicking that Swiss player out was too far.

He had too much momentum and tripped over himself. Yes, he was wrong to say he was pushed by the Argentine player when clearly he just tumbled forward because all his weight was distributed in front of his feet. Yes, the yellow card on the Argentine was wrong and deserved to be removed. But I think saying that he intentionally stuck his ankle out as he fell to bump the Argentine was ridiculous. It looked unintentional to me. I think the fair thing to do would've been to remove the yellow from the Argentine player and stop there.

Rules are rules, I know, but it didn't seem like justice was served in that ruling. It was overly punitive. I feel like reminding the Swiss player of his current yellow card and threatening a second (which would result in expulsion) would've put enough fear in him to prevent further bad behavior.

I just found out a Taco Bell is opening a block away from my office. Like some kind of Island of the Doritos Locos Lotus Eaters. They couldn't have chosen a more obvious trap.
