Itās hilarious to me that so much of the TVL promo has been like āWhat if Lestat was the coolest guy in the world?ā And then this new teaser is like āI mean, heās not. But could you imagine?ā
Ok. The book people are gonna eat me alive for this one, I swear I will get around to reading them. But speaking from the perspective of someone who has ONLY seen the amc show so far, I do not understand Armandaniel/Devilās Minion (yes I know thatās the book name)/whatever their ship name is. Because Louis was right. Armand is the most boring motherfucker alive and I feel like Daniel could and would do betterāLike meāand it feels like Armand only bit him to be a bitch thereās no love there. Donāt get me wrong I wanna be proven wrong, prove to me Armand is not dull as hell and would go good with DILFiel Molloy but until then I stand firm.
To be fair, with the way they've set it up in the show, you aren't meant to understand the relationship because we are experiencing it through Daniel and HE doesn't understand yet.
Also the Armand we've see in the show so far (boring, responsible, "stoic, wise, 514 year old vampire") is an act that hes putting on. We have yet to see his actual personality, let alone see the person he is with Daniel when its just the two of them.
People who've read the books see the little hints and the underlying potential motives, but show only people are experiencing their relationship through Show!Daniel's perspective and thats why it doesn't make sense.
