[Fic prompt/idea?]
The Dance is over, the Greens have won (though with many casualties), and Aemond is King, Alys his Queen. She promised him children, to start a new liniage of Targaryen Kings, but it has already been 15 years since they wed, and she still hasn't delivered on that promise. She fears her 'immortal status' has rendered her infertile, and tells Aemond he should look for someone else to bear his children. He does not want that, says they still have plenty of time left to try. But she doesn't agree -- she believes that the rule of a King without heirs is too vulnerable. So, in order to convince him, she decides to give him an enticing alternative -- to bring back the rare Targaryen omega, Lucerys Velaryon. Everyone knows him as dead already, so noone would miss him - and he does have a certain resemblence to Alys. Plus, she has noticed that, even after all these years, the whole thing with Lucerys was still plaguing Aemond as an unfinished issue, that needs a resolution.
Unfortunately, she might have underestimated just how big Aemond unresolved obsession with his nephew actually was ...
