So I’ve been wanting to do a giveaway on here for a while, and last night I had a galaxy-brain vision of this banner,,,,, so I spent like 9 hours grinding in the coli for a phantom gene just for this joke. Please be proud of me.

ANYWAYS! As the banner says, this is a give away for one lucky winner to receive a phantom gene! If I manage to win anything else I might just throw that in here as well as other prizes!

In the past 24 hours, staff has:

Locked a Natural/future eye vial thread over mention of a “Legacy” eye type (“It’s off-topic and we already answered this”)

Deleted 2 threads suggesting Legacy eyes (“We already answered this and the suggestion is basically talking about staff choices, which is against the rules”)

Deleted 2 threads suggesting a new eye type that looks similar the old eyes, but uses the new template (“The change to eyes is permanent and will not be reverted, stop talking about staff choices”… even though the suggestion is for new eyes, not the old art)

Deleted another Natural eye vial thread (although it seems to be back up now? It temporarily vanished; the current last post is a ghost post from a mod.)

They also locked the original 3 eye threads (Various Eye Vials, Legacy eye type, and Cycling Scattersights) after posting a half-baked statement in the Various Eye Vials thread (without actually solving any of the problems that people were proposing fixes for, but I digress).

It seems like since they “made a one-time exception to their policy of not posting in Suggestions”, they feel like that should be satisfactory enough for everyone. Any suggestions around vials for Natural eye types or the mere mention of the old eye art seem to get threads locked or deleted, since they’re “effectively discussing staff decisions”.

Because, you know, deleting any and all constructive criticism or gameplay ideas and literally forcing everyone into shutting up and accepting your decision is a good way to run a site. That’s not tyrannical at all.
