The recent trust and safety decisions made by the ownership of ‘X’ (the social platform formerly known as Twitter) have forced us to take more decisive action regarding our presence on this website: We will no longer be utilizing the ‘X’ platform.

Our community’s safety is critical both on our website, as well as where we are present in social media. When ownership of Twitter (now known as ‘X’) changed hands, we remained committed to our existing community on the platform—as long as you were there, we’d be there. Like many of you, we monitored the rapid changes to the ‘X/Twitter platform while we researched other social media options to plan accordingly. We had hoped ‘X’/Twitter might be able to reverse its course. With recent news, that no longer appears to be possible.

In its current state, the ‘X’ platform does not align with our values. The most recent decision by the current ownership has made it clear through their own actions and words that they are comfortable providing a space for individuals to post hateful, discriminatory, and criminal content.

We are not deactivating the ‘flightrising’ account on this particular platform at this time. This is to prevent the ‘flightrising’ handle from being claimed by malicious third-parties and used to scam or prey on our community and fans. Avoiding that to the best of our ability is paramount to us and our commitment to you.

When we have more information for you on the future of this account and our presence on other platforms, we will broadcast those plans here, on our website, and our current social media spaces. In the meantime, you can find us online on Tumblr, Facebook, YouTube, DeviantArt, and as always, flightrising.com.

8/20 of the Enchanted Study - Valac

Valac isn't much of a fan of anything, really. She found the enchanted study because she was simply bored, and left her old clan to join the Enchanted Study because the sight of Ecco soaring above stunned her into a beautiful silence. Zachariah and Valac tend to go on hunts together to support each other and relieve the loneliness that comes to solo gathering.
