Hi!! Now that the second season is coming out, I was wondering if you’re still watching You and I are polar opposites? It’s been awhile since your last post on it and id love to know your thoughts! No pressure ofc :D

I did have a great time watching the first season, though I haven't gotten into season 2 yet! Yamada x Nishi is my favorite couple (Nishi is painfully relatable), followed closely by Taira x Azuma! (Taira is too entertaining lol) I love Suzuki x Tani of course, they're precious and wonderful, I'm just the type to hone in on side couples more than the main one no matter what lol I tend to get overwhelmed very easily though, so while there are lots of shows I'm watching or may want to watch, I don't always post about them. Sometimes I'll lose energy to post partway through a season due to burnout or if I'm too focused on other things >.< S1 was great though, so I'm waiting for the right moment to start watching S2 with my full attention - just been a bit frazzled lately. That said, if I'm late in watching a show then I find it hard to post about it... "Everyone's already talked about it, I'm too late to join in." I get stuck thinking things like that. The guilt of not engaging with the things I like, even though I like them, is quite a dampener... Well, it'd be good if I could get back to watching soon...!

This phrasing makes it clear that there's no hope for "Sitara" and "Muhammad" to see each other again, but maybe "Fatima" and "Nasir al-Din al-Tusi" still could...? (Or just "not who they once were", that sort of thing.)

But whether they'd recognize each other as adults is another matter... they might even end up on opposing sides given how messy history can get. Or if they truly never meet face-to-face, maybe they could still be aware of each other somehow... letters, books, rumors on the wind even......

P.S. (Mild spoilers below!)

I really love the contrast between Soichiro and Okonogi. Soichiro, despite being family, only ever seemed to bring Hoshina down and make him doubt himself.

Meanwhile, Okonogi quietly and deeply resonates with his story of perseverance and all the effort he's put into getting where he is.

It makes me wonder...

What was it like when Hoshina told Okonogi his story?

She knows so much about him! I love that their relationship isn't loud or obvious, but the story still gives it such an important place in Hoshina's character development.
