idk what to add here um I'm a minor, I analyse bsd stuff, my favourite ships are fyozai, shirachuu, rimlaine, shirazai, etc, I'm fw almost every rarepair, my favs are dazai, margaret, Nikolai and chuuya aandd I might repost my analysis idk + idk how this app works 😭 I won't post that much on here tho this app is lowkey tricky 😔😔

25 is the same chapter where Q was introduced. release of Q made dazai make the same reaction (but a little more calm) he did when he found out fyodor was alive. Q's doll can easily play the role of amenogozen, they were doing nothing but taunting others while atsushi kept struggling paralleling to fyodor yapping while atsushi is literally getting tortured atp.also in the same chapter akutagawa says the thing dazai did in 121.

yk what else is crazy? akutagawa also said that only when atsushi was fighting back his hallucinations, similarly to dazai.the other rest is js dazai advising atsushi similar to 121.5. but in the same chapter atsushi fights for himself against Q's ability but ends up getting the blame for hurting naomi and haruno, reminds me of how fyodor indirectly blames him for the ADA members' death.

other than that chp.26 also has Fitzgerald and Louisa in it, and koyo plays the role of a wise mentor (and this might be a weird or nonsensical comparison but she js reminds me of fyodor explaining all the dimensions to atsushi in 120)

the war between the guild, ADA and Pm lowkey correlates to fyodor saying "humanity will never choose peace" (smth similar I forgot)

oh and atsushi's goal here was to potentially save kyoka and lucy, which koyo asked him to do in 26 too (she js told him more abt kyoka so he could save her, also reminds me of dazai saying "kyoka and Montgomery are still alive" )

another funny thing is that atsushi sacrificing himself doesn't only parallel akutagawa but also lucy (lowkey) bc she stayed in her room (aka in another dimension) to let atsushi save her (the same way atsushi trusts akutagawa) and in the room where lucy and atsushi first met, lucy reminds of her past js like how dazai told atsushi to feel strongly so he can 'step into the past'

It's unknown why sigma had a train ticket in his hold when he first opened his eyes, but i can theorise that the "non existent destination" is the sky casino probably.

I Mean not directly sky casino, why would a train go on a floating mansion looking island (idk), but it was hinting that sigma needs a place to be safe and sound at but that place is js a figment of his imagination.

Have you ever heard of mirages? Theyr the same thing ppl who are thirsty for life see in deserts, the thing is that they are hallucinations, similarly i suppose sigmas first wish was a home.

When sigma was created he said he was on a deserted place, with a train ticket for a station that doesn't exist. Yk kyusaku? The person who can manipulate minds and make ppl hallucinate? What I find interesting is that sigma is in a desert, where smn can get a mirage (mirages are similar to hallucinations btw).

In chapter 25, dazai says to atsushi that he has no right to take away his past ("take away the past" paralleling to sigma having amnesia and not remembering his whole past (his past doesn't exist))

And the "it was almost like yesterday" reminds me of the sky casino and how dazai reveals that sky casino was built 8 days ago and written to be of 11 yrs (? Idk I forgot) also the hanging from above bodies near Q reminds me of the latest official art

bsd chapter 25 and chapter 121 comparisons

so firstly, she's dressed so similarly to how koyo dresses, she has that mantle, the obi sash, the hair pins on either sides of her head, etc.

now I'd love to consider how there is no mention of koyo in beast (manga), kyoka herself doesn't have much character but hear me out what if koyo managed to get herself out of the mafia? that's why kyoka's clothes are similar to hers, be she's taking the place that was reserved for her.

They are paralleling too, in og!bsd, koyo gets captured by the ada but in beast it's kyoka, in og!bsd koyo's admirer gets killed but in beast atsushi gets into the orphanage w mori and also kyoka (since dazai told him to retire alongside kyoka), he did what koyo and her admirer couldn't, which proves that kyoka is in koyo's place here, reminder that koyo was only 14 when she tried to escape, beast kyoka herself was only 12.

the clothing choices

So like mentioned, she wears a mantle like koyo but one thing that differentiates is that koyo has blood splatter/tree branch like design on the end of her mantle whilst kyoka has hers tainted with black; her background is probs similar to og!kyoka, her parents were killed, she got into the mafia and all, so I think that her mantle is stained bc in the og! bsd, koyo gives kyoka the documents that show that her parents murder wasn't her fault but in beast we don't have koyo so there's no one to prove to her that she isn't at fault, so the mantle is soaked w blood be she believes that she's the cause of her parents' death.

in og au, kyoka has sprouts on her kimono to show her growing nature but in beast, kyoka has merely some squiggly lines (showing the flow of wind) and a few small florals/bits of snow on hers which resonates two things: 1. if those are bits of snow it can be be of demon snow, it's the symbolism that she thinks her ability, demon snow is the cause of her parents death. (like I said earlier) 2. if those are small flowers it is to show us that she is like them flowing into the direction life leads her to and adapting into it no matter what.
