The sunlight streamed through the blinds, tickling the lids of her eyes awake. Though her stirring was minute, her hands trying to shield her eyes from the golden rays of dawn, she still managed to dwindle in the in-between of reality and her dreams. At first, the frame she was on top of was disregarded from her attention - her focus gravitating towards how the sun kissed the porcelain of her skin as she made the light dance between her fingers. The smile that came to her face froze along with her actions as she became acquainted to his breathing. The green of her eyes adjusted to the cascading of the sun in her room, beginning to take in the being she was on bit by bit. Looking at him, she let out an inaudible laugh of a breath. Leila found it funny; How he called her sunshine when he was the one who wore it so well. Smiling to herself due to her thoughts, she let her fingertips gently graze his chest in admiration only for her to tense up when she came to notice that he was shirtless. The heat that sprouted from her cheeks bubbled in her stomach and curled at her toes. She was quick to slip off of him with grace, only to heat up even more at the sight of her in her mirror sporting under garments. A quiet squeak made her panic, taking the nearest shirt and throwing it on. She couldn’t remember most of last night, let alone her own clothing. It was possible she was wearing a t-shirt dress, right? At this point, she didn’t care. It was long enough to cover her, and that was as good as gold at this point in time. The petite girl made sure to be quiet as she scurried out of the room, finding herself in the kitchen in hopes to get her mind off the boy in her bed so she can think straight.
Nik was roused from his sleep as the rays of the sun pierced through his own unconsciousness. He reached up to rub his eyes and let out a yawn, before noticing that the weight that had been on him all night was no longer there. He slowly opened his eyes, letting them adjust to the sudden intake of light. He sat up slowly and stretched letting out a groan as his muscles moved to accommodate the movement of his body. He moved his way off of the bed and looked around the room, looking for his clothes. Spotting the pile where he had put his sweats last night, he pulled his pants from the pile and started to pull them on before realizing that his shirt was no longer in the room. He shrugged deciding to forgo a shirt and go find Leila in only his sweats. He made his way out of her room and towards the kitchen and ran his hand through his hair, that had to be an unruly mess. He spotted movement not registering anything other than her red hair and spouted, “Guten Morgan, Sonnenschein.” He said, not awake enough to translate to English. He walked up to her and planted a kiss on her forehead before looking through her cupboards looking for something with caffeine to wake him up, “Haben Sie Kaffee?” He asked as he opened the first cupboard he came in contact with.
