So I’m always trying something new when is comes to detoxing my body in a healthy way. I’ve seen Matefit Tea numerous times on Instagram, making it’s way into the hands of celebrities even. Now, I know celebrities will promote anything to get their name and brand out there but I looked up the Matefit brand and was pleasantly surprised by the cost, since it was cheaper than the Your Tea Tiny Tea I was previously using. So, I figured “what the hell, what have you got to lose?” I ordered the 14 day Teatox on Amazon for around 35.00 dollars (including s&h) and it only took a few days to arrive. I started the Teatox on a Saturday so I am currently only on day 7 (1/2 way point). Your package contains two bags on Metabolic Boost tea (drink 2x a day 15 min before breakfast and lunch), tea bags (you put the tea in yourself), and 1 bag on the Detox tea (you drink every other night after dinner or before bed) Initial thoughts: Metabolic Tea- I was not pleased with the taste of this tea at all. I basically had to chug it down. I wanted to make it less repulsive so I drink it cold w/ ice and with the juice of a fresh lemon. I don't add sweetener because this tea has organic stevia in it already. Detox tea- This one tastes a hell of a lot better than the Metabolic tea, I drink hot with 1/2 tsp organic sugar. It's a tiny bit spicy because there's pepper flakes in it, but it's not bothersome to me. It's got a minty taste all around which I love! Results the most important part! I am on day seven and I feel great! The tea wakes me up in the morning before I even have my daily cup of coffee (that says a lot) My bloating is completely gone and this tea does "clean you out" so be prepared to spend a lot of time in the bathroom the first few days! I've been feeling a lot more energy and overall happier so that is the cherry on top! I will try to remember to post my 14 day results in seven days! Stay tuned!
