Beyond his art, Neal Adams is rightfully remembered as an eternal champion of creators’ rights and for the part he & his work played in the Comics Code revision of ‘71 but his contribution to John Stewart’s creation is – I think – a rather underrated aspect of his career, especially as it’s such a great reminder of the kind of person he was. They're traditional Finnish toys, little cows made out of spruce cones, on their way to see the world from one tumblr blog to another

Okay so summer is the time to tell ghost stories in Japan which is why so many summer episodes of anime have ghosts in them and even why My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away takes place during summer. And coincidentally it’s also the original spooky season in my own country, Denmark, where we have Sankt Hans in June which is said to be the best time of year to do magic and communicate with the dead.

We all know Halloween by now which takes place during autumn and is said to when the veil between life and death is the thinnest.

In Britain winter, especially Christmas time, is considered spooky and a time for ghost stories which is why British shows always have a spooky Christmas episode and why A Christmas Carol has ghosts in it.

What I’m getting at is, is spring considered a spooky time of year anywhere in the world? You must understand, I need every season to be their own flavor of spooky.

In swedish (and fennoswedish) christian tradition easter saturday, when jesus is dead, is when all the witches go to have a huge party with the devil. That's very much a spooky time even tho nowadays it's been mixed with the easter rabbit and chocolate eggs and is much less devil focused. But children in some places still get dressed up as witches and go trick or treating on easter.

#it's a tradition that has it's roots in the witch burnings of the 1600-1700

It’s the year of the horse and I’ve always been a horse girl at heart, so I’m finally taking advantage of the excuse to fill the world with fat little horses! These felted friends are about the size (and shape!) of an apple, and if you happen to have any apples to share I’m sure they’d help you out! Some might say this is a donkey and not a horse, but if they want to hang out with the fat horses I’m not about to tell them no
