Love me not — lest fire follows - E - Smut, Drama, Slow Burn, Love Triangle, Self-Hatred/Self-Acceptance [(F!Tav)Elaris/Gale/Astarion] [Longfic - WIP] [Word count: 42,290, chapters: 9]
Elaris had never been anything but a raging fire caged in flesh — magic untamed, surging through her veins like the curse it was rather than the gift it should be. Never was she able to control her power, only suffered beneath its wrath. And when it had finally ravaged everything she loved, there was no one left to blame but herself, the ruin she had turned into.
To the wizard of their party she was a challenge, a puzzle, something he needed to unravel to understand, something he could very easily devour if being careful slipped his mind. She became his mystery, his favourite riddle, and Gale made it his mission solving it, even if she refused to be deciphered.
On the contrary Astarion believed she wore her rudeness as a shield, her kindness as compensation for a debt too large for her to ever pay. She was a fool, a dangerous one at that, and he had no time for fools. Certainly not for the one who flinched at life, whose only motivation to treasure her own existence was the fact that she considered it punishment.
What was there to pity? If she was an inferno he would let her burn to ashes.
Hedgehog's dilemma - E - Smut, Drama, Slow Burn, Love Triangle, NonCon/Rape, Dark themes [(F!Tav)Stengah/Gale/Astarion] [Longfic - COMPLETE] [Word count: 253,001, chapters: 50]
All her life the only care Stengah, the astonishingly beautiful drow sorceress that was now leading their party, had known had been that of her slavers. The same cold attention offered by her goddess as punishment for her rebellion, taking control of her magic to offer her freely to any who wanted her. To have her stripped of the very nature of her being.
Despite Astarion's best interest lying in the absence of any kind of feelings towards the drow, it was only natural for him to form a bond unlike any other with the first person he found who didn't lack understanding of what the word 'torture' truly meant. With the first person who showed affection in a meaningful way.
Gale, for his part, remained in the group exclusively because he had no other place to go with his parasitic stowaway constantly threatening his life, his disdain for the clearly selfish woman obvious to anyone paying attention.
Under no circumstance would he find his gaze following her legs as they disappeared beneath her skirt. Nor was he musing about how he might teach her a proper use for her mouth — instead of lying through it.
After all, wouldn't it be a disgrace for a wizard of his caliber to fall for a sorceress's charms?
The sapphire mirrored in his gaze - E - Smut, Jealousy, Porn without much Plot, Inappropriate Use of Evard's Black Tentacles, Tentacle sex, Astral Projection Threesome [(F!Tav) Sissia/Gale] [One-shot] [Word-count: 5,961]
It was not uncommon for Gale to experience the tinge of jealousy at the hands of the woman that had become his obsession — he had become used to admiring her at a friendly distance, the spare moments in which he dared to flirt playfully special but fruitless. And he didn't need them to be fruitful, he didn’t need to risk everything again for a woman.
Not even for the most unique one he would ever meet.
After all, he had little time left in the realm.
Except, after successfully rescuing the tieflings from the Grove from their lackluster fate at Moonrise Towers, the apprentice wizard starts to become a tad too thankful to her.
He just wished it was him Sissia looked at like a midnight snack because his drunk self had far too much imagination on what he would love to do to her.
Little did he suspect he'd have the opportunity to act upon his perverse ideas the moment he tried getting rid of them.
A night to map the centuries - E - Smut, Self-acceptance, Character Study [(F!Tav)Dhyula/Astarion] [One-shot] [Word count: 5,399]
He had just needed to satisfy his curiosity, to drink strong blood in order to be stronger himself since the fights were now a common occurrence, since he refused to be deemed as 'too weak' and left aside.
However, he hadn't expected her to accept him with a worried gaze and gift him her red ambrosia with little more than a word, to make him feel sensations he had all but forgotten, to make him crave the warmth of her skin after centuries of aversion.
The unkown feeling of falling in love - T - Falling in love, realization of feelings [(F!Tav)Shed/Astarion] [One-shot] [Word count: 2,005]
“Astarion, how do you think love would feel? How would we know if we are falling for someone?”
* * *
He tried to think about her question, about how he would know. It was more difficult than he gave it any credit to be, not having an example of it, now having felt it in his own flesh in all his years. He would assume it would start closer to an obsession or a strong attraction, having the person in his mind all the time, wishing for them to be close, or closer in his case, taking a pause to breathe each time their eyes clashed, admiring the dimples on her cheeks each time she fully smiled thanks to him. Yes, those would be signs that something was wrong with him, wouldn’t they?
Clockworks - T - Angst with a happy ending, dealing with grief, implied/referenced suicide [(F!Tav)/Astarion][One-shot][Word count: 3,721]
In the wake of losing the woman who had shown him the true meaning of love — the first person he had ever truly cared for — Astarion's life lost what little meaning it had before, his title as 'Hero of Baldur's Gate' becoming more of a burden than an honour.
In his grief and drunken despair, he convinced himself that the only answer was to step into the sun and follow her to the afterlife.
It was all he could do after failing each attempt to make her stay at his side.
Free One-Shot Requests: CLOSED
If you like the way I write allow me to briefly remind you that you can get a one-shot by simply sending me:
■ A description of your tav/durge (personality + physique, whatever you find important)
■ A basic idea/prompt of what you want to happen to them (for example "I'd like to see Durge soaking in hot springs with Gale!" or "How would Astarion react to Tav rejecting his advances a second time because they don't want to be just a game?" It can be as specific or general as you want.
Just remember I'm doing this just because I love to write and need some variety, without asking for anything in return except patience!
