i know “doctors wont do anything if your bloodwork is okay” but what is also true is that doctors wont do anything even when your bloodwork IS abnormal

The thing with disability is that your brain and the people around you will tell you that it's not okay to do things that will make your life easier. But it is in fact okay, good even, to do things that will make your life easier

the thing that sucks is that youre "able bodied" until youre diagnosed with something, at least according to doctors and the majority of the world. just because i dont have a word for it doesnt eliminate my struggles in fact it just makes them worse

at first the anti-AI outrage was merely annoying but the more I see people retreating to positions like "parents should have more authority to surveil their kids" or "more electrical/internet infrastructure is bad, Not In My Back Yard!" the more I'm worried that kneejerk anti-AI sentiment will be a great new way to trick casual leftists into accidentally becoming conservatives.
