dates and prompts
February 27: Love / Loveless / Lovequeer
A day to show that love comes in several forms for different people, and sometimes not at all. This day is to show and explore those different types of/lack of love.
February 28: Relationships / Nonpartnering
The days prompts are to explore relationships—whether they be romantic, queer-platonic, alterous, etc; or someone's choice not to have them. You can also write about the relationships someone has with their friends and/or family, and how it relates to their aspec-ness.
March 1st: Trope Subversion / Free Day
Trope Subversion is for taking tropes or AUs and 'commandeering them' to better fit aspec identities (ex: soulmates, unrequited, etc). Or, you can use the free day option.
March 2nd: Discovery / Self Acceptence
This day is to show what it’s like discovering you’re on the aspec, and/or coming to terms with it yourself through the Voltron characters.
March 3rd: Coming Out / Affirmation
Coming out is something a lot of the LGBTQ+ community does, but for this prompt, you’re able to focus specifically on what it’s like coming out as a specific aspec identity: the questions that are asked, the things people say, and more. Affirmation is, “to say that something is true in a confident way,” (Merriam-Webster).
March 4th: Community / Diversity
A day to celebrate the aspec (or the entirety of the LGBTQ+) community and/or the diversity within it. There are so many more identities on the aspec than just ace and aro and we want to celebrate those through aspec headcanons you have for Voltron characters.
March 5th: Celebration / Pride
Dedicated to celebrating aspec identities and/or finding pride in your identity.
rules
A short description of our rules is as follows. More in depth can be found here. Please note that the rules are for the comfort of the mods and our followers, and that if your content does not fit these rules we will not reblog it.
Aspec headcanons have to be shown explicitly. These can be any identity on the aro and/or ace spectrum, but related things such as aplatonic, arogender, and acegender. Queerplatonic relationships also count towards fitting our theme, and are the one exception to needing explicit aspec headcanons.
If romance is part of the content, it must be background. Only brief mentions of sex is allowed.
We do not allow ships fitting these depictions: incest, minor/adult (with the exception of a two year age gap), Shiro x paladin (including Shallura), Pidge x paladin, and abuse. (Please note that we count abuse specifically by the dynamic shown in the content, not necessary the characters involved.)
We also ask you keep the rating to a T minimum, and refrain from creating content centered around whump.
