life is motion, move on

one really annoying thing about me is that i got really into bird watching from 2019 - 2022 but recorded sporadically. and then apparently didn't submit a single checklist for 3 entire years. i made notes but didn't record any lists when i was in BC this winter either 🫩 so my life list looks pathetic when i know I've seen hundreds of species. not a single checklist from my last trip to Florida either. embarrassing

my mental health? maybe the worst it's been in years but whatever. cook something. fuck around in the garden a bit. watch some tv. go for a mini run/hike and look at birds. clean house a little. it does all add up and it does help.

Having a good day can be easy actually: do yardwork and get some sun, eat a fuckton of berries, go to the beach.

sorry for being a wannabe jock on main but how much is too much. i picked 10k for my first race ever because it was enough distance to be challenging but not so long i would actually keel over and die. but now that i did a 10k do i just do more 10ks and focus on running them faster? do i sign up for a half marathon in 6 months? how much "i can do it!" attitude is too much. much to think about
