The thing about Baggs is that he refuses to kill anyone. Sans is obviously capable of murder in canon and that's where they differ.

But that doesn't mean he's ethical either. There's wiggle room in that.

It's just the different Monsters of the underground half-dusted (how he would get the dust on his lab coat) and all hypnotized.

Insect phobias aren't 'ooie im a bit scare of this spidre :('. It's a vaguely bug-like outline in your peripheral making you uncontrollably jump out of your seat. It's literally just a picture causing chills over your whole body. It's your limbs seizing up and your mind going totally blank in abject terror. For some of us, it's trouble breathing, it's breaking down into tears, it's full panic attacks, it's having to run away and vomit. It's standing in the same spot in your room for an entire hour, bawling your eyes out, because even though you have a cup and paper in hand you physically can't bring yourself to get close to a spider on your wall and you know people are going to call you pathetic if you (a fully grown adult) call someone in the night to ask for help.

Even with more chill chases, like myself, who's just recently gotten that fear a bit more under control, it's still scary. At. The. Least. if not terrifying!

It's the spot and freeze, the chill all over your body at every movement from it, the unwillingness for your brain to shut up about the small little bug in the corner of your eye sight, even tho it can't hurt you 9 times out of 10! The mere thought can freak many out, and sights are even worse sometimes! You can't focus on tasks, and if it moves just barely close enough to be out of your comfort zone, you're basically forced to deal with raging panic or the embarrassment of asking someone to move the little bugger!
