Then the transponder snail rang again. What is going on? Ok… maybe I should answer it. Ritsuki thought even if she really didn’t want to. Her hand reached out and grabbed the little device on top of the snail as she spoke into it, sounding like her usual self despite being a mess.
“Hello?” Ritsuki said to the little device. She was only met with silence on the other end. At least for a few moments.
“RITSUKI-!” a cheery voice said only to be cut off when Ritsuki hung up quickly. What the hell. That sounded like straw hat’s voice. But, how can he have this line?

Ritsuki eyed the snail, annoyed. Just what game were they trying to play here? She decided to answer it, out of her own curiosity and suspicion.
“How do you have this number? And why do you keep calling?” She questioned before the straw-hat boy could scream her name again.
“See? I told you she would call back!” the cheery voice said to someone else on their side of the line.
“Why did I agree to let you have my transponder snail…” a voice, that sounded like the cyborg’s replied.
“This is a bad idea. Yet, somehow I agree with it,” a female voice said.
“Ritsuki!” the cheery voice, Luffy, said through the line, “come to eat with us!”
“Hi Ritsuki-swaaan!” what she assumed the cook said into the snail.
Ritsuki paused for a moment and sat up. She didn’t expect that answer. She thought they called her to warn her, to tell her to stay away, but… they wanted her to come to the Sunny to… eat? Why?
“Why should I?” she said, hesitant to answer.
“Because I want you here,” Luffy replied. The line went silent for a few moments.
“That’s not a good answer,” Ritsuki countered, though Luffy didn’t believe her.
“Yes, it is,”
“No, it’s not,” Ritsuki and a bunch of other voices said together. Ritsuki sighed, deciding she didn’t want to deal with this.
“But-” Luffy started but never finished when she hung up again.

“But-” the line fizzled out, “Sanji’s making food! Hey… she hung up again!” Luffy said, frowning, “Why does she keep doing that?”
“Because you’re annoying,” Nami, Usopp, and Sanji said at the same time while Robin lightly laughed and Zoro grunted something.
“If you want her to come over, give her a valid reason to,” Jinbe suggested.
“Oohhh, I have an idea!” Luffy exclaimed as he reached for the snail again only for the fishman to take it out of his grasp.
“Maybe plan it out before you give her another reason to hang up again?” Jinbe said while Luffy grumbled something.
