two timeβs βrealβ name reveal is transphobic. i donβt care i said it because thatβs what it is
this fandom has a Massive issue with misgendering nonbinary characters. i donβt inherently blame it as it is a roblox fandom and consists primarily of children, but said children should be taught to respect peopleβs pronouns and identities. i learned how to respect people at the age of ten. if i could do it, others can too.
this reveal adds Nothing to their story. it doesnβt develop their lore. it doesnβt give the fandom anything except a suggested agab and an excuse to misgender two time. and in my opinion, the name doesnβt suit them whatsoever, either.
clearly, two time is their chosen/preferred name. if the developers wanted to reveal this so badly, they should have chosen something more gender-neutral, not something that will open the door to even more transphobia.
βitβs not that deep!!β YES IT IS. IT IS. there are Children playing this game. children that are young and impressionable and donβt have a wide view of the world. these block characters who use they/them pronouns may very well be the first exposure young kids have to genderqueer people. using he/him for these characters shows kids that misgendering is okay, when it sure as hell isnβt. get a fucking grip.
their βrealβ name is their deadname. plain and simple. their story is not about their queer identity; it is about religious psychosis and their relationship with azure. it should have never been revealed.

Idc what anyone says Jezz was a victim of circumstances and his own father, he deserves just as much love as the others. He was manipulated and forced propaganda towards the guests and was taught all his problems were caused by them. "making them afraid will make them more racist" that's wild to me, because we live in a whole culture of social consequences for antiracism anyway. It is literally safer to be a racist than it is to speak up against it, socially.
Idk about you, but "I'm afraid no one will want to be my friend if I'm a white supremacist" seems like a pretty logical thought process to have, and I wish THAT were the normal and not "I'm afraid my friends will hate me if I tell them they made racist jokes".
I had a more intellectual answer for you, but tbh... Then I guess they'll find out. And when they do, they have two options: apologize and actively commit to doing better, or understand that they are choosing racism and will be treated as such. Because the society we live in, somehow option number 2 is the easier route due to a lack of social consequences for being a bigot. I don't think choosing to be a bigot should be the easier route. It should suck to be a racist.
